So a simple vote of the Senate and House can overturn the 2nd amendment? Seems the right thing to do is to prevent the vote, rather than leave it up to the chance of a vote.

By suggesting that the 2nd amendment can be 'modified' by a simple law, it is indeed overturned totally, since the 'make no law' part would be null and void.

Well, no, not if they close their eyes and pretend that's not what's going on, and if the MSM incessantly broadcast that everything's OK. Who you gonna believe, Chrissy Matthews or your own lying eyes?

Kidding aside, yes, we have reached the point where American politicians think they're gods. I don't get the sense that the public anger is even registered inside the Beltway. This one's an express train headed straight for a brick wall and all we see in the media is Joe Biden tooting the whistle and grinning like the fool he is.
