A transgender high school student who applied to prestigious, private, all-female Smith College has been rejected because the school only accepts women.
Smith returned Calliope Wong’s application — and application fee — earlier this month, reports The Advocate.
“As you may remember from our previous correspondence, Smith is a women’s college, which means that undergraduate applicants to Smith must be female at the time of admission,” admissions dean Debra Shaver wrote in a letter to Wong, The Advocate says.
Wong has identified as female for several years, according to the Keystone Student Voice. However, on the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Wong apparently checked the gender box saying male.
According to The Advocate, Smith’s rejection places reliance on the laws of Connecticut, Wong’s home state. The state categorizes Wong as male and would only recognize Wong as a female after expensive, complex sex reassignment surgery.
On August 15, 2012, Wong identified on a Tumblr blog as “a male-to-female transsexual girl.”
“Yes, I was born into a body with typically male parts,” Wong blogged last fall. “But I identify and am living as female. Prevailing scientific and medical opinions support the fact that who I am identity-wise is different from the gender identity typically associated my physical body.”

You know, gays & lesbians should be vehement enemies of "transexuals". At their core, a transexual rejects gay or lesbianism in an extremely radical way. They acknowledge the truth of the male/female relationship but have accepted the lie that they are "trapped" in the "wrong" body and choose to surgically change that. Oy vey!
So rather than embracing their "gay" or "lesbian" self, they reject that completely for an even more radical 'solution' to reject how God made them with surgical procedures. How utterly blind and lost.

The real irony here is that Northampton, where Smith is located, is a real epicenter of Homosexual identity. I would have to estimate that more than half of Smith’s student population is lesbian. That they would reject this person is truly surprising.
Now, I was wondering when a TG student would be refused admission to one of those ELITE Women's Colleges.

Northampton is about 97% lesbian/Gay IMHO...A few years ago we were driving to Vermont and we pulled off 91 to get gas, There was a fair and you couldn’t believe the kids there with either 2 dads or 2 moms....we were looked at as the odd couple (mom and dad).
As much as I appreciate seeing standards (finally, and very low, but at least it's an absolute standard), this response was imprudent. The correct response would be a sweet, "due to this year's large number of qualified applicants, we are unable to accept all qualified applicants; Smith College regrets that we are unable to offer you admission at this time . . ." Never, ever tell someone why you are rejecting them, not for a job, not for a date, and not for college admission.
In fewer words, he is saying he's mentally ill. Those opinions "prevail" only with MSM journailists and a handful of leftie celebritydocs.

It's kind of funny, since Smith is a radically lesbian leftie campus. A conservative friend of mine actually got beat up there in her naïve freshman year when she wrote an article for the campus paper in support of our troops. Ahhh, liberals. They're so consistent....not.

I dont know, if elementary school and high school kids have to have transgendered students in their classes, I would expect that Smith would cave.
I have never understood why some enterprising young man has not sued the sh** out of Smith, ala VMI, and gotten a free education with the monies he gets. I would never GO there but they are a school waiting for a lawsuit. And deserve one.
