Slipknot is pretty bad. The 2000s was a dark period for music. Terrible radio bands designed for 10 year olds like Creed, Nickelback and Linkin Park, old geezers like RHCP and U2 running on fumes, etc. Luckily it’s a new decade now and all the stale remnants from the 90s are finally fading away.
I cant figure out how to post the links.
Not sure what your needs are but a few minutes on this practice thread may help.
I always liked this one by the group
Outsiders - Respectable - [original AM radio version]
Never hear that song in the same way again after watching “Goodfellas.”
By far and away my favorite Dead tune is “Box Of Rain,” but there’s not a single decent YouTube, the studio recording is better.
So, here’s Cream instead. “Badge.”
Skeeter, I need $20 of whatever that cat was smoking back then.
That Hippy is nearly 75 now. Thanks for the song, I haven’t heard it before.
They don't write 'em like that anymore.
Here are a quick dozen to kick off:
Argent - Hold Your Head Up
Mungo Jerry - In the Summertime 1970
Manfred Mann - Mighty Quinn 1967
Lovin’ Spoonful - Nashville Cats
Lobo = Me and a Dog Named Boo
Rod Stewart - Maggie May
Deep Purple - Hush
Led Zeppelin - American Woman .
The Hollies- Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress
Hugh Masekela - Grazing In The Grass .
The Beach Boys - Good Vibrations
Bread - The Guitar Man
Back then it was the good stuff - Mr Leach was on top of the charts.
What about Slipnuts?
Saw Jethro Tull live in 69, not that big a crowd.
Paul Butterfield Blues jammed til 5 am as we ordered pizza and enjoyed. Probably 50 of us left.
Dynamic concert. I was young....
IIRC, came out around the same time as Edgar Winter: Frankenstein.
Back a few years .... Buffalo Sprngfield: For What it's Worth
