Yours; is an insightful observation, I had not considered your viewpoint. I accept your criticism. without reserve. I maybe unseasoned, insofar as respecting the etiquette of FreeRepublic. I will be more thoughtful in the future. But I appreciate the feedback, from “all of the commentators”
I have been educated, duly notted.

I say no to ozone here. Wall of weirdness at link is interesting. (studies of trolls at a horse forum? LOL)
You want to deny the bully boys their opportunity to another lynching? You're no fun!

I think that your reply was very thoughtful.
May I be one of the first to welcome you to Free Republic.

I have been educated, duly notted. That's the first step to a long and enjoyable tenure as a Freeper, friend. I think you'll do just fine here.
(and I didn't miss the bit of wit at the end. Another plus.)

I read the entire thing and never once thought, “Some troll posted this and wants to be zotted.” I thought it was interesting.
The comments about the five year old were particularly vicious.

Apology accepted. But I will note that you did not post a graphic as claimed in post 12. You merely excerpted a blog. And did a bad job of doing it too.
Don’t do it again. Thanks.

I've always had a problem with the posting guidelines here. I believe that posting an entire article
without permission is theft - pure and simple. I think that every article should be excerpted unless we have permission from the source to post full articles.
As to the posting limitations, copyright laws are laws. That means they are to be interpreted by courts and not by people on message boards.
It seems like many FReepers believe that the copyright laws were created in 1999 in order to harass Free Republic and other conservative sites. In reality, the first US copyright law dates to 1790. That's long before the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the thankfully dead Righthaven.

It’s the “Lord of the Flies” gang. They wander around looking for odd things that they can jump on and scream “Troll Troll Troll”.
To: EveningStar
So what? Use it however you wish; or not, as you choose. Just a bit of background for a thread on trolls.
