Several conservative House Republican members are contemplating a plan to unseat Speaker John Boehner from his position on January 3, Breitbart News has exclusively learned. Staffers have compiled a detailed action plan that, if executed, could make this a reality. The Republicans, both conservatives and more establishment members alike, are emboldened after the failure of Boehners fiscal cliff Plan B on Thursday evening. Dissatisfaction with Boehner is growing in the House Republican conference, but until now there hasnt been a clear path forward.

Throw them all out. R’s and D’s
Any who voted for that gold-plated health care plan for themselves and Obama-care for us - throw them in prison.
That would be a good thing. The problem is the rest of the 233 are worthless idiots to. Is there a single good House member?
Its time to break some eggs. Go home Boehner. You’ve allowed 17 trillion dollars of debt. You’ve done enough damage.
Boehner needs 218 votes to be speaker or it gets vacated until someone does.
‘bout time.
Do it please. He should step down voluntarily.
What...they don’t have enough guts to stand up and vote against him? Seems pretty clear cut to me. Let the dice fly!
Someone with ‘attachments’ and no tear ducts please!
I suggest tar and feathers.
Yes, there’s a few, Gohmert for one.
If they grew some balls and did this, I would consider supporting them in 2014.
Right now, I’m not going to, because there is no reason to.
Why is Lucy holding the football again??????????
I hope there is a shred of truth on this; Boehner has been a disaster for the last two FULL years.
Had he championed some of the Tea Party initiatives, Obama and the Dems might have suffered a massive defeat this fall.
Now watch, how his “friends” across the aisle and Obama completely abandon him, like the good little Marxists they all are, once Boehner’s usefulness is over.
Sniff... sniff.. smells more like 1775 every day.
Make that 217 votes...
Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., has resigned his position, there will be 434 voting members on January 3. For someone to win the Speaker election, theyd need to secure 217 votes or a majority of everyone voting.
too late. I don’t see how they get all these House Republicans to rally around a single replacement during the last 2 weeks in Dec. All this should have done all this long ago
The fact that many conservatives were willing to stand up against him
on this Tax Raising bill at least they no longer fear him, regardless of
Committee assignments or Chairmanships.
This could be a promising development. However all leadership
must be replaced including Cantor and McCarthy.
Tom McClintock is a piece of gold amongst the dreck.
Heck, they vote for everything she wants anyway!
But, seriously, Boehner just needs to listen to his Members. Though Cantor would win, and (appropriately chastened by Boehner's dethronment!) do better.
If this will be anything like the primaries where the conservatives couldn’t agree on a candidate this should be lotsa fun.
Yes it is way past due, but if u read the plan, it is doable.
Good point. Perhaps formally they can’t do much but I still wonder if there is a replacement lined up or not? Without someone to step up and herd the cats all this is meaningless
Of course 201 Dems can vote for Boener, leaving the rebellion out in the cold.
It’s probably their smartest vote.
I don’t think he cares. He might even be glad if it happens.. Glad to NOT have to look at the evil monster . And be glad to not meet with the monster in person at the White Hut. He’s seen politicians come and go, so I’m sure he knows if it’s his turn to leave the Speaker position, then so be it.
Looks like its time for your boys to break out the Water Boards.
Mutiny is in the air. You and some others here did not see the backlash
developing against Plan B, I doubt u are capable of seeing the growing
backlash against these three stooges (bonehead, Cantor and McCarthy)
either.
GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Conservatives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RINO Boehner NEVER understood that Democrats insist on two giant steps to the Left, then find some sucker like Boehner to vote with them in a Bipartiasan Cave-In, with the mumbled promise that the Democrats might consider, someday, maybe, to taking a slight shuffle to the Right.
Hence, the ‘Creeping Socialism’ from FDR to today, with the Democrats NEVER giving up ANY of their Socialist gains.
RINOs, such as Boehner are always proud to say “Well, we had to get something done. The American People expect us to get something done. We were sent here to get something done. Etc, etc, etc.”
BTW Boehner, we, your “American People,” are about as done as a flaming, charcoal-encrusted goose!
>>Since there are 233 Republicans heading into the next Congress, only 17 Republicans would be needed to unseat Boehner.
Another way to look at it is that Boehner only needs the support of 17 RINOs to keep his seat if the Dhimmi’s back him. It depends on how badly the communists want to keep Weepy on the other side of the negotiating table.
“HOUSE REPUBLICANS CIRCULATE PLAN TO OUST BOEHNER FROM SPEAKERSHIP”
Oh, Lord, please make it happen and make all of our Christmase bright.
Long past time for the Weeper of the House to be gone. Spineless RINOs have done far too much damage.
Henry
Thanks for posting this article. Great read and doable plan.
I hope this doable plan gets put into action.
K-Street Money Changers and Trent Lott are pissing on themselves.
Louie Gohmert, for one.
Divide and conquer.
Makes you wonder what Pelosi could do as Speaker with the majority voting against her every time.
IF they would vote against her every time.
Oh and BTW, even though he was defeated in his last campaign...
The Constitution does not require that the Speaker be an elected Member of Congress, but no non-member has ever been elected to the office according to Article I, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution states, “The House of Representatives shall chuse (sic) their Speaker and other Officers.”
You are absolutely right! Col. West would be perfect.
Boner is well past his “best by” date.
Nancy can give him some votes if he needs them.
Well said!
Boehner had his chance. He’s great at some things. But being a conservative leader is not one of them.

Maybe we should start emailing our congress critters? One of the many reasons I love this idea, aside from Congressman COL Ret. West is if he is the speaker and is unelected, he has no reason to worry about his next election.
Just random thoughts on a Friday evening after a few glasses of a very nice red while sitting by the fire with my sleeping pups close by.....
God is good!
Uh, the GOPe is already toast, they just don't know it yet.
What about a rail to ride on?
I can just see him sniveling now... the pantywaist politician wannabe.
I’d go for Tom Cotton.
That's a stratergery problem........
That's a strategery problem........
Trey Gowdy
Louie Gohmert
Allen West
Do it, GOP.
“Of course 201 Dems can vote for Boener,”
Thought about that one too, the Dummycraps will vote for Boner just for spite. Anything that is for the GOP, they will obviously vote against.
No republicans voted for the ObamaCare. It passed in 2009/2010 with only democrats. The House was controlled by the democrats then. Many of the republicans have forgotten that the republicans were rewarded by the tea party with newly-elected House control in 2010. They say elephants have a very good memory, which makes me realize that the top brass of the party are NOT republicans, but truly rhinos! when Saxby Chambliss, one of my two senators, publicly stated he would support tax hikes, I wrote and told him I would work very hard to make sure he lost in his next primary race.
