Last Night I Cried

Posted on 09/27/2012 8:32:28 AM PDT by SandyLynn

Last night, I gave in and cried. As the Mom of 3 kids, I feel hopeless. The polls show that Obama is winning, whether we try to deny it or not. I keep asking myself "Who are these so-called Americans who will re-elect this disaster we've had in office for almost 4 years?" I am scared. Scared for the lives my children will have to live, thanks to the resident currently occupying the White House. No, I will never call him my president..in my opinion, you have to EARN that title. And the man who currently occupies the White House is much more concerned about being popular with the "in" crowd..you know, the Hollywood Liberals. Who cares that gas prices have tripled since he took office? That food prices have skyrocketed? That most of us who work for a living are struggling from paycheck to paycheck while the lazy people live off of our hard work? Hopeless. I keep going back to that word..because I feel as though we have nowhere to go. And shock. Because I cannot believe we have so many stupid Americans in our country! Don't get me wrong. I will vote, and cast my vote for Romney. But really, is it enough? I don't think so. Fellow FReepers..is all lost, as I think it is?

Until the day of the election we don’t know the result. God will get us thru, but it also a good idea to stock up now and be prepared.

I have decided that if zer0 wins, I am going to only buy replacement stores on sale and nothing else. If something breaks, we fix it or find another older appliance to rehab. Same w/the vehicles. If we all just live on our stores and only replenish those from sales, while growing greens and whatever else thru the winter, we can affect the economy. It will be like 2008, with less capital. Luckily, we have a warmer than average forecast for the next 3 months and propane has declined in price.

SandyLynn:If you live anywhere near Lansing, IA, check out Horsfalls (Lansing Variety) for great bargains on sox, sweats and assorted daily necessities. Actually worth a day trip, IMO.

Unfortunately, there is no bargain store for liberty and freedom. However, crying accomplishes nothing except red eyes and a runny nose. Cry once, if you must and do it in private. Your children will need your strength. So will you.

As much as we all love and revere The Gipper, he set the ball in motion for this when he insisted on the idea of dropping “the poor” from the tax rolls.

There is more than just one election on November 6. Many candidates are running for many offices and each one is important. Pick your favorite candidate for each office, support that candidate and vote for that candidate on election day. Some of your candidates will win and some will lose, but you will have done your part. For that you can be proud.

Remember that God will play a role in this election. His will shall be revealed soon enough.

Trust God.

Remember 2010? The polls pointed to a squeaker and the pubs destroyed the dems. There are more people awake today than 2012.

“Despair is a sin. Trust in God.” I know you are right, that is Biblical instruction. But it is hard, hard, hard. Worry, anxiety, even when Bible says to be “anxious about nothing.” But it does help for other people (like you) to repeat and encourage the rest of us.

Don’t worry. The media is just trying to make Americans feel that Obama’s win is inevitable.

That's exactly what the media did for Romney in the primary and it worked like a charm.

Yes, I am voting for another candidate. The two main party candidate are completely unacceptable. I don’t accept the unacceptable.

And if you are deluded enough to believe that Romney is in the same universe as conservatism, you have a rude awakening coming when he wins.

OOPS.

Look up your county RNC and volunteer to help. That is what I’m doing.

I’m more Libertarian than Republican but this is our best shot for now and I’m backing it even though Mitt has shown all the enthusiasm of warm spit and the backbone of a wet noodle. By all rights this should have been his election to lose.

It is always better to work than to worry.

I'm sad to say, it doesn't really matter who gets elected.

The hole is too deep and we are too close to the cliff.

Positive = Negative

You're going to need a new hangle. :o)

For the believer in Jesus Christ, suffering is only temporary. The best truly is yet to come.

___

Psalm 92:7-8
... when the wicked sprouted up like grass
And all who did iniquity flourished,
It was only that they might be destroyed forevermore.
But You, O Lord, are on high forever.
___

Not only that, but here’s the best news of all:

The gospel (good news) of eternal salvation

The Bible is clear that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who died on the cross as our substitute. He paid the penalty for our sins. He took the punishment that we deserve.

God’s provision of salvation is a free gift (Eph. 2:8,9). God, through Jesus Christ, did everything. All you do is accept that free gift. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

How to be saved (how to receive the free gift of eternal salvation):

John 3:16-18
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVES in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He who BELIEVES on him is not condemned: but he who does not BELIEVE is condemned already, because he has not BELIEVED in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Romans 4:5
But to the one who does not work, but BELIEVES in Him who justifies the ungodly, his FAITH is reckoned as righteousness

Romans 5:1
Therefore being justified by FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:28
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by FAITH without the deeds of the law

John 6:28-29
Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to BELIEVE in the one he has sent.”

John 6:47
(Jesus Christ said) He who BELIEVES in me has everlasting life.

Acts 16:31
BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved

Acts 10:43
Every one who BELIEVES in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.

John 11:25-26
(Jesus Christ said) I am the resurrection and the life. He who BELIEVES in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and BELIEVES in me will never die. Do you BELIEVE this?

Don’t fall for the National Socialist Propaganda. These polls are meant to do to you exactly what you are feeling! They can’t win without it! Understand that the polls way over sample Democrats and act like Republicans and Independants don’t exist. They can say they are scientific all they want but what they are is a lie! Don’t fall for the Propaganda go out and talk to your independant friends and acquaintances! Get them energized to vote for Romney! This is the best you can do! Then watch Obama leave the White House kicking and screaming Jan 20, 2013.

I'm also beginning to get that feeling in the pit of my stomach. I pray every day for Our Country, and I'm beginning to think Divine Intervention may be the only thing that saves us from ourselves. AN APPEAL TO HEAVEN!

I also used to pray daily for this once great nation - a second chance to bring us back on course - and then I had a realization that praying for a corrective action in the political realm was probably not going to be answered from above. This is the nation that has turned away from God in every manner imaginable. More like Sodom and Gomorrah.

IMHO it is over - I still do pray that America will return to God, but not for political corrective action.

The turnout in 2010 was just a warm-up. The Silent Majority will come out of the woodwork in November and bury this Martian.

The polls from the drive-by’s are pure PsyOps designed to create just the reaction you had. Don’t give thd bastards the satisfaction. I don’t know about you, but the tactic is making me mad as hell.

If your upset over polls—do not worry—work harder to get people to vote GOP. Volunteer! Give what money you can, call friends and family and get them to Vote GOP. Write a letter to the editor about how bad Obama has been for the nation—DO SOMETHING!
