Is anyone watching the Closing Ceremonies? So far, I've seen a quite eclectic selection.
I think so far, the highlight has been when Eric Idle, one of the Pythons, came out and sang "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life".

TV is on the other side of the room and the only acts that made me actually walk across the room were the Spice Girls and Brian May. Wow is he ancient. Spice Girls looked Fab.

The only way to salvage this is by having the Brazilians come in dressed and dancing like it is Carnival.

But they were dressed like it was a slightly chilly British evening, not a sultry end of summer party in Rio. The ceremony wasn't saved by the Brazilians.
