Is Mitt Romney a marxist communist socialist?

Posted on 06/16/2012 5:41:04 AM PDT by Halfmanhalfamazing

Do you believe "progressive" is code language for "communist"?

A lot of people here do. "Yes, I agree with that question". Some don't. "No, a progressive is not a communist".

So then what say you about Mitt Romney, who has openly stated the very thing.(and his record shows the truth of his claim)

well now that Black Elk has spoken:

the reality of what you call moral relativism is that as a lame duck, Mr zer0 is ready to cause a new civil war. now that might not be an awful thing...though I am getting too old to deal with that myself.

I do know the horrors of zer0bummer and can project from that what the horrors will be for a lame duck zer0bummer....I would rather find out if the horrors of Romney will be better or worse...I cant imagine it will be worse...

“I will be voting for Romney to help rid our country of Obama!”

***

But see, the tradeoff will not be an improvement. Sure, the dictator wannabe will be gone, but in his place will be another socialist liberal. Perhaps the liberal socialist agenda will be put in place through Congress, instead of by edict, but it will be put in place all the same.

Mitt can work with a Republican House and Senate,

Absolutely, he'll pass Romneycare with bipartisan support.

If you buy into your drivel, vote for Obama, and enjoy the consequences. You can comfort yourself with the fairytale belief that no matter how bad Obama gets, Mitt will have been as bad. That’s what a lot of Obama supporters are going to do. Not me. I like my Myth better than your myth.

No, Romney is a lot of things but he is not a communist.

Romney is in favor of big government not total government.

Hey Grig, thanks truthkeeper.

Romney is a Globalist (see tag). Socialism, by it’s nature, is just a way-station on the road to Communism. So, YES... Romney is all of the above.

I don’t have good answers for you.

But I don’t think Romney would appoint a Taliban-defender or California money launderer to SCOTUS.

As for health ‘care’ insurance, I say we ship the uninsured to Kenya and dump them there. Or, mabe Bikini atoll. Or an island near Adak.

DC has to be the emeans to solution of the problems, because, as the history of other countries whose 'Washington' sold them out to the globalist banking thuggery shows us, until We The People elect honest representation, those running the 'Washington' will seel US out for thier own enrichment and empowerment. We see it right before our eyes as little barry bastard commie grants 'waivers' to those who will enrich and empower the corruptocracy of the democrat party, while imposing czarist regulatory suffocation on those who will not serve him and his thugocracy. It is the same meme used in other countries who were raped and pillaged by the global banking elites and corporate raiders.

I want someone to tell me how opting out of the elections will solve the 'washington selling US out' problem. If we the people refuse to vote-in the lesser of the twisters and then remain 'on the job' as the sovereigns who tell these lying cleptocrats what we want for legislation, we allow the current rapid collapse to occur and end up looking around for an excuse, someone to blame.

Our founders gave us a Republic. We The People are the sovereigns but cannot retain our sovereignty if we opt out of the hard work required to monitor and command these cleptocrats. We have allowed them to usurp our sovereignty because we opted out of the responsibilities as sovereigns. How will opting out yet again in the face of ansolutely predictable collapes retake the sovereingty? I t won't, it will just allow the obvious collapse to happen which will take the world with it, perhaps ushering int he reign of the anti-Christ who will sweep onto the scene to establish 'peace in our time' by organizing the world community under the glorious mark of this beast we seem determined to allow to end our sovereignty.

With Romney, we have at least a change of thugs and during the transfer of power from one twister's regime to a not yet established in control regime We The People can act on our sovereignty. To allow the current regime to remain in tightest control, issuing illicit executive orders is oepn suicide.

If Mitt says he has changed his view point over the last 10 years, well shouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt?

Luke 6:45 ~ "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."

Romney/ObamaCare, gun-grabbing, the Lavendar Mafia, pro-choice - all done in the last 10 years - by his deeds shall he be known.

Take a refresher course to find out what Communism or Marxism is and what it isn't.

Or read Solzhenitsyn or any of the first-hand testimonies from Russia, Eastern Europe, China, or Cuba. Or maybe Robert Conquest or Orlando Figes or Richard Pipes.

Then maybe you could post something intelligent instead of wasting everybody's time with this moronic [string of expletives deleted].

#1. “You actually think Romney would choose Van Jones to lead anything? Or refuse to prosecute the new black panthers for voter intimidation?” Really?

Based on your arrival date, my advice would be to go back to post 42, see who number #42 was addressed too, determine what was quoted out of number 34 and then try to make your comments related to the subject.

If I understand your point, which is really asking a lot, I don’t think you understand mine.

#2. “The mods should start deleting posts for endorsing the freak”.

On this forum, based on at least two years of data, it would be pure guess work to determine out of the two individuals in question, what “freak” you are talking about.

Ha, carlo3b. You wanted Paul and you were able to evolve into seeing that anybody, anybody is better than Obama.

I am hoping for the day when Obama finally does the one thing that will make all the people here obsessed with Romney hate see that Romney is our only alternative now to Obama.

I thought maybe the self-serving and congress-bypass of Obama in enacting the work amnesty for illegals would be the day but, apparently, not yet. What will he have to do?

Until that day comes, I will continue to be villified and hated here just because I prefer Romney to Obama.

What a world... what a world.

(who said that? think it was from the Wizard of Oz)

The Guardians of Freedom (us) are in an existential battle with the most dangerous enemy of Liberty we have ever faced in this nation.

True. Those guardians are called 'Conservatives' - They CONSERVE liberty by way of defending the principles which define it. Their natural prey is Liberalism/Globalism/Socialism/Communism. THAT is the 'dangerous enemy'.

Are you awake now?

This is no time to desert our champion, no matter how flawed.

OUR champion? See above.

Free Republic: the only conservative place in the known universe where 105 or slightly more people hate Romney more than they do over at DU.

Thank goodness for the other two thousand (or more - I don’t know)

Sure -- But that does not require us to give him the most powerful office on the planet, just on his say-so... which is what you are asking for. Paul PROVED his change on the road to Damascus by his actions later in life. What can you point to in Romney likewise? *nothing*.

I certainly don't hate you. I respect your decision to support Romney.

We have something in common; we will both be voting against Obama.

The notion (however questionable) that this useless GOP pig is marginally better than that Demonrat one has a name: moral relativism. Conservatism is NOT about moral relativism.

Bravo, sir, bravo.

You are a two-faced liar who slithers back and forth from a hate FR site to Freerepublic, posting what you believe turns them on at each site while openly insulting Jim Robinson and fellow freepers, so don’t ever again ping me or post a response to me at Freerepublic, sleazy drone. You disgust me.
