Cops: Accused Prostitute Offered Undercover Officer Sex For Cheeseburgers Off McDonald's Dollar Menu
The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonalds. The cop added, I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.

There was a parrot.
This was before I learned that I was actually supposed to go to Guam and discovered that it was an oceanfront jungle version of Oklahoma.

Do not go back into the practice of law. If you haven’t achieved success at it yet, it’s probably better to try being something else.
You could be an actuary, for example.

Yes, garden-variety RC. Bill didn’t earn any of the Boy Scouting medals. He once had a Pius VI patch, in Cub Scouts. Our Cubs will probably get one this year; we have a gung-ho religious awards coordinator.
Thanks for the suggestions of other badges and pins he can get!

Not sure if you are a Southpark fan or not. I recommend that you watch the latest episode as they address the issue of posting funny cat pictures on the internet.

I had a dream the while camping on Whidby Island not very far from Oak Harbor. We had taken the ferry from Port Townsend to the keystone ferry landing to drove to what was then a state park. . I was sleeping in a tent with my head near the entrance flap. That night a brown bear came by and put some curlers in my hair. The bear was struck by lighting and to this very day I have curly hair. This is also how black bears came to the island.

I have rather given up the averred utility of smelling things.
When someone thrusts an object under my nose, I blink innocuously and nod sagely in agreement, having no idea what noxious odor has been foist on me, by the simple expedient of having suspended breathing at the first instance of the assault.
I am willing to smell the flowers, or attempt to, that may come my way, or I theirs, but the left shoulder of that particular bell curve is one I try to stay upwind of.

We got a bill from the NJ Turnpike Authority. Keep your Pikepass updated, or get one. It was a $1.50 toll plus $50 (yes, fifty) “Admin Fee.” We’re paying it out of your tax refund.
The Coast Guard is going to get mad if the state comes to get you for not paying tolls!

I give advice about how 'meaningful' the right hand, 'temporary patch' pocket can be that's probably more reflective of me overthinking things than anything else.
The Insignia Guide says that a Scout (or leader) may wear any Scouting patch on the right hand pocket. If you've been to Philmont, it's generally useless information, because you'll wear a Philmont arrowhead hanging from the right pocket button and it covers up the right hand pocket. You can't see the temporary patch.
Otherwise, I suggest that Eagle Scouts go back through their Camporee Patches, summer camp patches, and all other patches they have, and select on that's meaningful to them for some reason - not simply the last one they received, or the most attractive one, or the 'biggest one' (like Sea Base or something). For example, a patch from the year of summer camp where you first realized you were going to work toward the rank of Eagle Scout. A patch from the OA Ordeal you went through with your best friend. A patch from the Camporee where your patrol won some District contest for fire-building, or cooking. Your first summer camp. A patch you can look at and say: "That event was an important step on my Trail to Eagle Scout."
A lot of Scouts still show up with a blank right pocket instead of sewing something on. My advice to Bill is, don't waste that space for the Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Wear something meaningful there.

Thanks for the suggestions of other badges and pins he can get!The National Catholic Committee on Scouting webpage is a good place to start. Your Council should have someone who chairs a committee on Catholic Scouting, but that position is generally centered on relationships more than potential activities and awards, so it's unclear how much he or she will know about specific NCCS programs.
Here's a starting place for NCCS activities and awards.
Note that these programs and awards, such as the International Catholic Awareness medical, or The Footsteps of the American Saints Program (currently thirteen different activities and patches, with a new one added annually), may be earned by Scouts and non-Scouts, both boys and girls. The Rosary Series may be earned by youth and adults.
You could have members of the TC brood from grades 1-12 work on the same Footsteps of the American Saints Program at the same time. Older youth simply have to complete more requirements to complete the program.

So I find the Panera's bag on the kitchen counter this morning and there's a plain bagel in it. Hmm, I think, Ni or San must have grabbed something at Panera's last night and left a bagel for the Grumpy One.
Turns out San cleaned out her car yesterday and this bag and bagel was from early last week. The kitchen counter was a more convenient dropping spot than the trash can, three steps removed. Week-old bagels are rather dense. Trust me.

Put it in the microwave with a small dish of water for about 30 seconds. Then eat it as soon as it’s cool enough to touch, before it turns even harder when it’s back at room temperature.

Put it in the microwave with a small dish of water for about 30 seconds. I'll remember that for next time. Part of it became chew toys for He and She (after I sawed it into pieces with a serrated bread knife) and part of it is in the trash. The icky side of the trash, where it doesn't merit redeeming for purposes of the microwave experiment.

I don’t think I’ve ever been that hungry, even in the throes of my most extreme dieting.
We were exchanging “worst eating stories” in the line at Weight Watchers yesterday, and one of the ladies said her son’s friend slurped spilled soda off the tabletop at the amusement park. We all agreed that just thinking about that was a great appetite suppressant!
Supposed to be hot today. I’ve already watered my vegetables, and I’ll be headed out to run as soon as I see if Kathleen needs to eat again.

Right now, I’m taking cranberry fruit pills (I don’t need the calories from the juice!) and olive leaf extract, but since they are natural, they take longer to work.
