Barry should use Randy Jackson in his campaign ads scolding America how to vote...yeah, thatll work. :)
Good one.
Something like “ Yo Yo, America, this guy is Dope... ( first true statement of season )
To: peggybac
Simon wouldnt have made such a spectacle of himself on stage and its so fake and forced this season. I don't know about that. When Rachel Crow (I had to google her name) was eliminated from X-Factor, Simon ran up on stage and embraced the sobbing girl while he shot daggers at Nicole Scherzinger (thanks again, google).
Speaking of Rachel, she sang the Nation Anthem at the White House Easter Egg Roll last Monday.

They probably had to glue Obama's hand to his chest.

If one is saved tonight, two will go next week. I think thats how it works. Normally, it would. But they had to kick out a singer earlier so now the show is a week behind schedule. If they only eliminate only one person this week then they'll be back on track.

That’s one of the reasons I didn’t like the X-Factor - too much personal participation between the judges and the contestants, yet, I know that’s what the show is about. I prefer the opposite. I also HATE when the judges on Idol give standing ovations - I think they should just sit and applause. Just my feelings.
To: NoDRodee
Cant wait for X-Factor, the host and judges are better. Simon fired the host and half the judges.

What about the other six kids standing there? I agree. That was totally inconsiderate. They could have had all the drama they wanted without Big Mouth Randy's lecture. "America, vote for the best!"
"And what are we, Randy?"

Steven Tyler gave his greatest performance since playing a Skeksis in Dark Crystal, JLo pretended she was one of us watching her movies and Randy Jackson went back to the time when Sizzler told him they were all out of cheese toast. LOLOL!! Did you write this? :)
It is impressive at how JLo finds a way to make a moment all about her.
Well it is her only talent.
I didn't notice this at the time, but she was the first judge on stage. She ran up there in heels and left Randy and Steven in the dust. "Spotlight on me!"

I hated the X Factor. Didnt even finish watching the season. There's no way I can sit through that trainwreck again. The show is bad enough all by itself, but when you add in the scheduling conflicts with baseball, Thanksgiving, Christmas and FR's bandwidth-choking election coverage--forget it.

My comments are more towards HOW they did it, rather than the decision to use the save. Exactly.

And a 16-year old monster talent...maybe the third greatest female in Idol history, displaying a God-given talent and a work ethic American youth can't imagine emulating, the daughter of an Iraq War Navy vet...will bear the brunt of the hinterlanders' disgust with the AI judges.
Get ready for Philip Phillips, America!

Here's a plot twist for next week: America, disgusted with the judges' crass attempts to show thier choice down the throats of the viewers, votes Jessica off AGAIN.
In response, all three judges get up and walk off the show...
Can you imagine what the ratings would be the following week?

Evening SJ. As always, thank you for doing this thread. I do unabashedly use much of it for my weekly Blog posts. I give credit though, and encourage readers to come join.
Below my most recent Blog post. I posit that the judge’s GOP Blue Blood type actions will hurt Jessica more than they help her.
