Its wonderful to remember those wonderful days, isn’t it, Meg? I have enjoyed all the graphics today also. We are all just sentimental about the “good old days”. Our Ma maw’s hadn’t even heard of a dishwasher or the good things we have today. And they were always happy and had smiles for everyone. They kept their troubles to themselves......

I have my grandmother’s hand held small brass acales, my mother’s clock, tray and match holder in my kitchen..Mother never had a dishwasher. Never wanted one..
I bought her a microwave..I think visitors were the only ones who used it...LOL
It was my honor and privilege to serve this GREAT nation.

Well, its time for plain speaking and let the offended get over themselves!
PC costs American lives. In 2000 when the USS Cole refueled in Yemen’s port of Aden, Navy brass were so concerned about appearing to be “sensitive guests” that sailors patrolling the deck were not permitted to carry loaded weapons.
Nor did the destroyer deploy “picket boats” and establish a defensive perimeter—even though Yemen had only recently been taken off the State Department’s list of countries that sponsored terrorism.
All this pandering to imaginary foreign sensitivities made it pitifully easy for an al Qaeda motorized skiff packed with explosives to approach the destroyer and blow a hole in its side, killing seventeen American sailors.
Two hours after this entirely avoidable terrorist attack, another motorized skiff approached the stricken vessel. A sentry raised his rifle, only to be told by his ‘superior’;(?): “Let me tell you something about the rules of engagement. You can’t point a loaded weapon at these people. That’s an act of aggression.”
And Libs wonder why our enemies no longer take U.S. military power or the U.S. seriously?
Its time to speak plainly, and clearly, and take a small measure of pleasure at the discomfort of the left as we retake America and build her even better.
