I thought the latest prediction was that it may hit the Carolinas Fri into Sat.? Haven’t heard anything about further north of that.

Could be a lot of overtime coming for me at the end of the week. Stocked up on gas, food, and water today.

Thanks for the heads up. I’m in S.E. GA. I keep the TV off and rely on the Net for news. Your advice is very timely .

Now would be a good time to go over to Lowes or Home Depot to pick up that backup generator you've thought about buying, but never got around to.............Talking about the experience of my neighbors who didn't.
Don't forget to get at very least 4 five gallon cans for gasoline.
They are impossible to find after a hurricane.

According to NOAA, there shouldn’t be a problem “just outside of DC” except for rain and the inevitable flash flooding in low lying areas.
Still, I hate to stop a good old fashioned DC weather panic!!!

We are in WVA, it could possibly cause us some wind/rain damage. If I remember correctly, there hasn't been a bad hurricane up the Chesapeake since the 30’s. Don't take it lightly folks, do your homework and best wishes to all.

I'm in GA, right on the FL border, six miles in from the Atlantic ocean. We get brushed by hurricanes but get hit by very few.
We could actually use the rain to finish putting out the Honey Prairie Wildfire in the Okefenokee Swamp. It's been burning since late April.
Hope all is well with you.
