I have been praying that you guys get a strong T.S. or weak Hurricane down there. I am predicting that you will by September as the heat dome over Texas should start to retreat, just hold on the rain is a coming.

Just read an interesting article about the Rangers ballpark turf.
They start the season with rye grass but in mid-June that is replaced with Bermuda grass as it can withstand 95 degrees heat. Although the heat wave you're having now must be a challenge for the groundsmen.
Sorry you won't get any rain from Irene.
