Hello all, I’m back, this is a ping, but this is not a renewal of the ping list. Over a year ago I got suspended — I could log in and out of FR, but couldn’t post topics, reply in topics, reply to email, or edit my profile page. A recent renewal of interest in my whereabouts was pointed out to me (there was a topic) and I tried logging in and replying to email, found it worked.

I very much doubt I’ll resume any of the science- and history-related ping list activities, and probably won’t post any new topics of any kind, but would appreciate a bump to interesting topics in those categories. Others appear to have picked up some of the slack and done an admirable job, and I’m all for letting them continue.

Anyone interested in doing the daily APoD ping should definitely let me know — you’ll have the ping list, the template for the ping message, and responsibility for this topic. The one-click post a new topic (seen in msg 81 above) will have to be updated, and I’d be happy to take care of that for you.
