"We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!" President Bush
The big news of the day is the death and burial at sea of Osama bin Laden. Thank you, President Bush and the US military (including my son and future son-in-law) who made this day happen. Other news is the nuptials of William and Catherine in Great Britain. May God bless their union and draw them close to Him in Jesus Christ. Alabama (my state) and other southeast states continue the task of digging out and rebuilding. A massive effort is underway with able bodies and supplies needed.
There is a Dr who does micro surgery for ruptured disks. I’ll ask my nephew his name and send it as soon as he answers. I watched the technique and there is very little invasion.
The Dr is in Florida. think, till, think.
There you are !!!!
>> I am like a old car, a creak here, a creak there
Guess they don’t have parts for a ‘42 Toby anymore, ‘eh?
Jem, you have an e-mail headed your way. till
Thank you for the links. I’m in the process of watching it now.
Php 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Php 1:22 But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose.
Php 1:23 But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better;
Php 1:24 yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake.
So, let me encourage you - and me - to continue doing the daily Christian disciplines, Reading the Scripture, Prayer, Telling others about Christ, Encouraging Christians to continue growing in the faith, until the day when God calls you home or until Christ returns. Do these things and the details of when the rapture occurs won't make a difference, you'll be prepared.
Morning Jem, you must be in pain.
Not really. I took the pills in anticipation of pain. I’m good now.
Good Morning. Tis a beautiful day in central Texas. Need to water my garden...again.
Hopefully the headache stays away, Jem. I cannot remember ever having a headache. My aunt had them, and she’d stay in the bedroom with the blinds down, and everyone tiptoed, she couldn’t stand any noise, it hurt her.
She was the "devout Roman Catholic" who encouraged her daughter to abuse our son because we didn't raise him in "the True Faith".
I bet she is around and I am so sorry for what Jack endured. There is a dred punishment for people who abuse and mislead children. I hope I didn’t sound like that; I only meant to encourage.
I’ve enjoyed reading of your building projects. I know that you just finished some recently. What are you working on now?
Good morning! Different problem, but my hubby recently had a disc replacement surgery. It went well, and he’s doing well. Now that he’s signed on to Medicare, there will not be another as they only pay for fusion.
Put me in the category with your aunt. I got hit with it Sunday, in the middle of a family get-together. And pain isn’t the only thing; migraines affect my digestive system as well. But “hit” is a good verb. One instant I was fine and within 30 seconds, the migraine was upon me. I was okay yesterday, kept the pain in the background, until we were almost through with the dress try-out. Then, wham-0, bam-o! No good for the rest of the day.
At this moment things are better. We’ll see how it progresses.
FYI, we did find a nice dress - three of them actually- but nothing that is great. So, on we go. We’ll head up to Atlanta sometime and look at consignment shops.
Outside, I finished the terracing around the dirt pile that holds the waterfall for the duck pond. Now, I need to build the chicken coop before our dozen pullet chicks outgrow the brooder. Then, I need to clear the space for the 10' by 20' platform for the permanent home of our Quonset shelter. After that, the retaining wall for the side parking pad next to the shop/carport. Oh, yes, and there is the second raised bed to build!
Once my shop is done, I have an entertainment center to design and build for the living room. I can't die for at least 30 years!
I hope your hubby doesn’t have another “back attack” that requires surgery. With this administration in place, I’m not surprised with anything being removed from medicare. I’m just hoping and praying 2012 puts a strong Conservative President in place, rid our house and senate of Rinos, and as many democrats as possible. I want some elected who represent the Americans who put them in place, elected who have the backbone and courage to stand up for Freedom and the American Idea. Men and women similar to the courage of Lt Col Allen West, now Congressman. No more Compasionate Conservatism. Speak out when wrong is done to America’s Ideas and Constitution. I’m just sick and tired of the willy-nilly speak so many of our rino elected spurt out, trying to make us think they are doing their best, when in fact they are playing up to the democrats.
While your designing your entertainment center, you’ll just be thinking, you can come here as I need some projects done,
I have plenty of room for you and family can stay in. lol.
/johnny
Prayers.
I’ve been thinking of you. Hopefully the winds and tornados have passed you by. If not, we have room for you, but not the cats, unless they have a cage.
