This is our little Pekoe. Shelter dog. We've had her since 2000 so she's over 10 years old now. Chihuahua mix or Rat terrier--not sure which.

My neighbor took her in and it is one of the best mannered dogs I have ever encountered.

I have a long-lost now found friend on Facebook who posted a pic of her shelter dog...could be twins as well!
I love that she looks big and acts big but is only around 16 pounds. And a wonderful heater! Around here the coldest night only rates one dog. lol

Nemo is half maltese/half pomeranian(he might be mixed with something else too, his ears are very soft velvet ears that go up and down) and Maxie is a shih tzu which is proven by his birth certificate(Funny how he has a birth certificate unlike the President LOL) Maxie we adopted from our neighbor down the street, they ran into financial problems and could no longer take care of him, he is 3 years old, going to turn 4 in December. Nemo we got from a doggy day care 4 years ago. We assume he is around 6 years old. Both have very funny personalities
