This arrangement can be setup in a bedroom where you would like to have the window open but are worried about mosquitoes. One speaker should be fairly close to where you are sleeping.

Window screens are cheaper, easier, and also protect against wasps, yellowjackets, flies, box elder bugs, elm bugs, lizards, stray cats, and bats; not just mosquitoes.

They also work during power outages.

i need that in my back yard in about 3 months...

I heard that one of the "nicest" things you can do is to gift one of these CO2 skeeter traps to your neighbor:

He thinks he's alleviating his own mosquito problem.

In fact, he's attracting the mosquitoes away from your yard.

Somewhere in my files on (one of the PC’s) I have the frequencies causes bees and wasps to abandon their hives/nests. They have come in handy more than once.

If you ever get curious what they are; capture the insect in a large glass jar. Set the jar on top of a speaker. Slowly scan through the various levels and observe the insect. When it starts acting frantic, you have the approximate frequency.

Window screens DO work.
I’ve tried them in the past.
