Every year Glamour celebrates Women of the Year by paying tribute to courageous and inspiring women who are changing the world. This year the magazine features First Lady Michelle Obama on the cover, accompanied by an interview with new Glamour monthly columnist Katie Couric in which they discuss the importance of role models and mentoring the next generation.

all greased up as usual ... photo is in the wrong magazine ... should be in the National Enquirer under Big Foot.
WHAT
the woman has done nothing but go on vacation or be entertained in the white house.
Has the so called media actually asked if she has done any charity work away from the white house?
We knew what Laura and Hillary were pushing, education, reading and womens rights but this MO has done nothing at all.
Then she dresses like she has curtains on her all the time, walks like a bull in a china shop.
I’m sure we have all seen the photo;s of her walking the dog etc where she looks to have been dragged around a pig farm for a day and notice how the so called media never show her big arse and hips.
Women’s magazines are okay for looking at women in almost completely nude and sexually provocative manners. If you think I’m kidding, go to your grocery story and thumb through Glamour or Cosmo or Redbook. If pornographic images are what you want for stimulation, avoid paying for crappy mags like Maxim or something like that and buy a Glamour magazine. The girls in Glamour are just as lightly clad and, truth be told, are nicer on the eyes.
Also, look to almost every women’s mag out there to proclaim Michelle as Woman of th Year. Women’s mags are run by lefties without enough brains to work at Time Magazine.
I haven’t touched Glamour Magazine since before the 2000 Presidential election. I was tired of the articles by Karina Gore and others going on and on how George W. Bush was going to take away a woman’s right to chose to slaughter her unborn child. Too much politics in a fluffy rag for my taste.
Michelle Obama has always been committed to mentoring as long as you weren't a sick person without health insurance trying to get admitted to the Chicago hospital where she used to work.
That magazine makes me sick....I have a 2 year free subscription and all’s I do is pull out the perfume samples and toss it....not like it used to be in the 80’s/90’s...They worship that beast....
What the H*** is this? She is supposed to be a news anchor!
Now she is doing puff pieces for a magazine about the president's wife? I thought she could only do puff pieces as a CBS anchor! ;-)
I don’t actually have a problem with the message. Plenty of children could use a mentor. Look at all the good things Big Brothers/Sisters does or Scouts or youth groups. They all involve mentoring young people. I don’t see this as a political issue.
Cindie
Will there be a Boob Belt retrospective?
And in all that time I've never seen a story indicating that she had the slightest interest in mentoring.
Guess I missed it.
also noticed she’s on the cover of Prevention Magazine, too.
Preventing eating, I suppose.
Look at the pictures taken before her Oprah coming out.
And she's fat...Health nut?? Exercise freak?? She's pulling our chain....She's a lard....
Womens mags are run by lefties without enough brains to work at Time Magazine.
FINALLY! An award that Barack DIDN’T win.
Why did I lose you with that statement?
Look past the scantily clad babes and read the articles. Every single one of them is statist, democrat-lite! Lite on the brainpower, that is.
Those silly women’s mags all ogle over Michelle now just like they ogled over Hilary during the Clinton years.
With women’s mags, enjoy the view.
