The Good Lord has blessed me with a wonderful wife and boy- so the answer is certainly yes.

Better off until, when is it supposed to happen? Noon today? Then welcome to the People’s State of America.

Ready for government forced health care to go along with the federal government’s forced retirement program?

We all shall be equal at last! Equally poor.

I am, but these types of questions are irrelevant in my opinion and a tremendous sign of what’s wrong with American perceptions of government.

I most certainly shouldn’t be worse off because of the actions of the President, but it’s not his job, no matter who he is, to ensure my prosperity, either.

Yes, I am, no question. I attribute that to God and His goodness, but I’m sure He imparted some wisdom to those who need it.

I just have a hard time figuring out who they are...

Markedly.

I've gotten a graduate degree, successfully led and completed several milestone projects for my employer, and gotten a number of promotions and bonuses and a three-fold increase in salary as a result (oh yeah, I also kicked cancer's ass).

But most importantly, my children are healthy, reasonably happy, and creeping along on their own roads to success.

On the down side however, I did lose a wife. But as it turned out, she really wasn't worth keeping anyway (I guess something about “sharing her” with her boss just turned me off), so I'm definitely better off w/o her.

Yes and no. I have a better job, nicer home, two kids in college. The last year however has been tough for my husband to find work. Thankfully with a lot of prayer he went back to work full time last week and things look like they will get better and be better without the help of The One.

Definitely, but I don’t know how much is based on GWB’s policies. Three major things Bush can be credited for: tax cuts, SC appointees, and no major terrorist attack since 9/11.
