You can tell a lot about a person's politics by what they find funny. Something that is downright hilarious to a Democrat is often outrageously offensive to a Republican, and vice versa. To assess what your sense of humor reveals about your partisanship, we've created the Political Cartoon Rorschach Test. Rate 20 cartoons and funny pictures mocking both the left and right and we'll gauge where you fit on the political spectrum.

I scored the same.

NOT breaking news, in my case. (c8

You are a devoted Republican. You tend to walk in lockstep with the party, even if you have not agreed with every decision Republican leaders have made. The few differences you have are nothing compared to your complete and utter disdain for the Democratic Party and the elitism, cowardice, and godlessness for which it stands.

Works for me.

I'd like to add that I wouldn't urinate on the DNC HQ if it was on fire.

Thinking of Gulliver's Travels now, are we?

I'd amend your statement: I would like to urinate on the DNC UNLESS it were on fire. (Think about it.)

Full Disclosure: Apperently Winston Churchill, near the end of WW II, went over and took a leak on part the the "Siegfried Line", a series of fortifications designed to protect Germany's western border from attack. Photographers tried to take pictures, but he dissuaded them saying, "This is one of those operations of the Great War which must remain shrouded in secrecy."

Cheers!

Just to see what they said to the other side of the specturm. I respnded with exactly the opposite of my opinion. This is what the DU'res must have gotten for a response.

You are a pure, unabashed, die-hard Democratic loyalist. You are appalled by the way Republicans are turning America into a theocratic, corpo-fascist police state, and you'd gladly walk through a furnace in a gasoline suit to elect a Democratic president. In your view, there is no higher form of patriotism than defending America against the Republican Party and every intolerant, puritanical, imperialistic, greed-mongering, Constitution-shredding ideal for which it stands.

I guess you won't do that again.

You are a pure, unabashed, die-hard Republican loyalist. You remain fiercely dedicated to fighting the twin evils of terrorism and liberalism, and you'd walk across a field of land mines if it meant casting a deciding vote for a Republican president. In your view, there is no higher form of patriotism than defending America against the Democratic Party and every elitist, French-loving, religion-mocking, America-hating, terrorist-appeasing ideal for which it stands.

I just didn't want to spoil the fun for people.

What do you think I got, except:

"Your Political Profile You are a pure, unabashed, die-hard Republican loyalist. ... which is exactly what I did get. :)

Well . . . of course.

Pretty funny considering how clueless today's democrats are about "patriotism".

For the lefties, "patriotism" means defeating America.

I'm not in lockstep with the Republicans (just look at my screen name), and I don't care if the Democratic party is godless. Otherwise, they got my total disdain for the elitist Democrats right.

This kind of test isn't good for me because I appreciate humor even when it's at my side's expense.

They really didn't pick the funny stuff. The options were too few. They picked stuff which was very often was as subtle as a freight train. I'll noted that the right wing stuff was better. I liked the TIME one, though. I think they thought it was a slam at Bush. I saw it as a slap at TIME.

Comedy is about surprises. Going one way and taking it another. Riffs on "Bush is dumb" doesn't really qualify as funny, no matter how they're done.

I'd urinate on Hillery! if she was on fire, but then
I'd urinate on her if she wasn't.

I got this one:

You are a devoted Republican. You tend to walk in lockstep with the party, even if you have not agreed with every decision Republican leaders have made. The few differences you have are nothing compared to your complete and utter disdain for the Democratic Party and the elitism, cowardice, and godlessness for which it stands.

My result:

You are a devoted Republican. You tend to walk in lockstep with the party, even if you have not agreed with every decision Republican leaders have made. The few differences you have are nothing compared to your complete and utter disdain for the Democratic Party and the elitism, cowardice, and godlessness for which it stands.

Funny part is, I'm not a Republican. But the part about having complete and utter disdain for the Democrats is right on target.

I'm British, but it would be difficult to overstate my anger at the Democrats, particularly after the events on July 7th. They exploited our pain in London to attack President Bush. From my perspective it's "unleash the footie fans" time.

Regards, Ivan
