Once again Kevin Harvick gets blamed for being willing to really race! The NASCAR web site says "Harvick caused wreck in qualifying race." I can tell you this anyone who says kevin was responsible for that wreck has never driven a race car. Think about it this way. If you are racing the kiddie go carts at the local track and you are following your buddy at a distance of about 6 inches or so what do you think is going to happen if your buddy lets his foot off of the gas pedal? Guess what... you just bumped into the back of his cart before you could let off your gas pedal. If your name is Kevin Harvick you just caused a major accident and it is all your fault because according to NASCAR, and I will quote their website you are "NASCAR'S BAD BOY" What a joke! Mike Helton and company have taken the racing out of racing! Since the Passing of Dale Earnhardt they have turned stock car racing into a joke! All of their rules have turned it into nothing but a big money making parade for the France family. When does the Big Bird float come down the front stretch? I guess I will never know because I will not be there to watch the parade go by!

He is right in some regards.
The inconsistencies in the application of the rules and penalties.
The common body templates, the overall lack of innovation that individual teams are allowed develope and implement.
The over commercialization of the product. The apparent disregard for long standing traditions, and the "hard-core" older fans.
The ridiculous top 35 owner points cars that are guaranteed starting spots in the races this season.
The attempt at putting down contrary opinions, statements as "actions detrimental to stock car racing" (that's an oxymoron).
These are personal opinions of course, but there are alot more if you think about it.
The races are still fun to go in person, pretty dull on T.V. now, but any racing beats no racing.

Harvick did cause the wreck. Anybody who's driven a race car and plenty who haven't can review the tapes and make that determination.
In his defense, it probably wasn't intentional. The intentional ones are caused by Kurt Busch.

Kevin Harvick is a jackass. I think Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin and Joe Nemechek would agree. Even better, Harvick almost wrecked Martin again during happy hour.

"The intentional ones are caused by Kurt Busch."Maybe we can start a new thread:
I nominate Tony Stewart.
(And,I not only agree with Rimride in #25, I'm also waiting for Ford to present NASCAR with a four-door racing Taurus)

Malibu Racetracks are a lot of fun.
Perhaps a tad fast for this feller, though. ;o)

I agree! TS can get out of control. Anyways, why are we all here and not watching Daytona?
