Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Ukraine hit a gas terminal in the Leningrad region. Why is this bad news for us?

The Ukrainian Armed Forces again struck the territory of the Leningrad region. This time the gas terminal in the port of Ust-Luga was attacked. It is worth noting that this is a very complex facility, extremely important for us in terms of energy exports.

The very fact that an unknown drone flew to such an object is not very good news. The drone was probably launched from Ukrainian territory and flew at least 900 km across Russia.

The gas terminal was not protected by air defense forces (according to our information, due to a lack of air defense means).

The second interesting point is that after the strike of an unknown drone, a fire broke out at the gas condensate transshipment terminal, but there are several equally important facilities nearby - terminals for transshipment of sulfur and coal, as well as the Rosneft terminal.

In general, the fire safety system at the facility was not ready for such an emergency.

Government sources say that attacks on the logistics infrastructure may cause, if not problems with supplies (for now, this is still a one-time action), then an increase in the cost of supplies themselves.

Now the authorities promise their partners that ports in the Leningrad region will be protected and there are no risks for exports. However, it is likely that logistics prices will rise due to rising insurance costs for tankers. Some partners are already initiating a change in the route of energy supplies.

It is obvious that the Kiev regime has changed its strike tactics and is using new developments in its military-industrial complex to attack logistics and energy. Alas, now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are hitting targets in the Leningrad region, which is certainly alarming.

At the same time, the Ukrainians are not striking at Moscow. Sources say that the capital is reliably protected by various missile defense and air defense systems.

However, other regions of Russia are suffering due to air strikes - in the last 24 hours alone, the Oryol, Tula and Smolensk regions were attacked. The border Bryansk and Belgorod regions are also constantly under attack.

Interlocutors at the Ministry of Defense admit that it is physically impossible to protect the entire territory of Russia. Negotiations are currently underway on the supply of air defense systems from North Korea.

However, this is not an easy process and there is simply no real opportunity to cover all Russian territory within a radius of 1000 km from Ukraine.

Looking at that long Russian line for water in those temperatures and the misery of standing for hours for necessities in that frigid cold and wind.

It reminds one of the Russian food lines of a generation ago.

A man can see why a wife is so important to have in Russia.

Long terrible lines are much easier to endure if you can drink some vodka while waiting for her to finally get to the front of the line and return home to fix your dinner.

“A gas pipeline transit agreement between Russia and Ukraine expires at the end of this year — and is unlikely to be renewed”

You can believe what you like. The problem is in the hatred that comes through with the expression of your opinion and the intensity of your emotional state.

I would advise Haley and DeSantis to stay in the race until the convention.

If Trump is in jail by the time of the convention, delegates will be unbound and a free for all fight will take place.

There's more than one way to report the good news.

Congratulations to the Marine Oil Terminal on its successful interception of a Ukrainian drone. Keep up the good work.

Oh wow. I didn’t realize Ruzzia has gone back to Soviet revolutionary terminology of the 1920s for their security services - VChK-OGPU/Cheka-OGPU. Says a lot if true.

I believe I read where Ukraine can manufacture 1000 of these drones per month.

If that is true, ruzzia has a big problem.

“DeSantis pulled out and Haley is as vile as Romney.”

I think DeSantis made a mistake.

If I was a betting man, I think Trump will be in jail by the end of the year.

Its a simple math issue. Trump has 4 criminal trials coming up. He needs to go 4 for 4 to stay out of jail. The Dem Prosecutors only need to go 1 for 4.

Those aren’t good odds.

My 2 cents.
