This is a prayer request for my spouse. She suffers from chronic pancreatitis for 12 years now. She has had surgery due to pseudocysts and was in a coma for 18 days due to acute pancreatitis in 2011. She has Barrett’s esophagus and IBS. She’s been experiencing several concerning complications and symptoms and tomorrow goes in for a colonoscopy and endoscopy.
Please pray for a good outcome as she is at a heightened risk for pancreatic cancer, colon cancer and esophageal cancer. She is scared and has asked for and will be ever grateful for your prayers.
We pray for many who ask for prayers here and have witnessed the power of FreeRepublic’s prayer warriors. It is with bittersweet desire that we now hope to receive the grace and peace of all your prayers for her and our family.
Thank you, we know you all will come through for us. His will be done.

Please consider looking online for a doctor of “Traditional Chinese medicine,” who is proficient in both acupuncture and herbs. Use google and Yelp reviews to try and find a good one, ideally trained in China, with at least a decade of experience. They are magicians at using herbs and acupuncture to massage the GI tract into some kind of balanced state, where everything works as it should.

Update:
Good news so far. I talked with Kitty’s GI doctor, and her colonoscopy and endoscopy went well. They found one polyp in her colon and removed it. He said he felt comfortable saying it wasn’t cancerous. She had no blockage, as she thought she had due to her symptoms and pain.
Her Barrett’s esophagus has progressed some and he took a biopsy. He said doesn’t think it’s anything to worry about. Hopefully the biopsy comes back negative.
He’s changing up her meds a bit to help improve and control her digestion and resulting serious constipation.
So, all-in-all, this is great news and it appears our prayers were effective.
We thank God and all of you for praying for our good medical results, and we know He guides the doctors, nurses and technicians as well as the medications and treatments that are available to help us achieve them. We rejoice in God’s goodness and His faithfulness to do whatever is necessary to restore and rebuild her health as He sees fit. His Will be done. Amen.
Thank you to each and every one of you and God for your kindness and compassion. It will be remembered and treasured.

I’ve done this a lot and really, this week, need to catch up on them. (I’ve been having major itching/burning/gut—back burn all over since COVID before Christmas and the gut and body thing has gone in for 2 weeks now.)
