Biden wants to get out more, seething that his standing is now worse than Trump’s
POLITICO ^ | June 5, 2022 | Jonathan Lemire

President Joe Biden and his aides have grown increasingly frustrated by their inability to turn the tide against a cascade of challenges threatening to overwhelm the administration.

Soaring global inflation. Rising fuel prices. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. A Supreme Court poised to take away a constitutional right. A potentially resurgent pandemic. A Congress too deadlocked to tackle sweeping gun control legislation even amid an onslaught of mass shootings.

In crisis after crisis, the White House has found itself either limited or helpless in its efforts to combat the forces pummeling them. Morale inside 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is plummeting amid growing fears that the parallels to Jimmy Carter, another first-term Democrat plagued by soaring prices and a foreign policy morass, will stick.

“It’s something that has bedeviled quite a few previous presidents. Lots of things happen on your watch but it doesn’t mean there is a magic wand to fix it,” said Robert Gibbs, a press secretary under President Barack Obama. “The limits of the presidency are not well grasped. The responsibility of the president is greater than the tools he has to fix it.”

The responsibility of the president is greater than the tools he has to fix it.

But such consideration was never extended to Trump, was it?

So he can “campaign” among the people, comitting more gaffs than he does now and saying more things his staff has to claw back on with the press; yea, that will really help him. /sarc

The more he gets out, the worse it will be for him as his greatest talent is to tell sophomoric lies like “I was appointed to Naval Academy in 1965,” or the mob “killed 2 police officers at the Capitol on January 6.”

“Seething”. What kind of language is that? Did Politico really put it out like that? I guess they all went to public school at Politico.

A Supreme Court poised to take away a constitutional right.

It was a MADE UP "right" by a bunch of lawyers. If you want to look at a REAL right under Democrat assault, look at the attacks on 2A which is enshrined in the real constitution.

If it wasn’t for the MSM’s constant protection of the idiotic, despotic Biden he would have been forced to resign already. When the bill comes due corporate media will have to pay.

The plan is to put President Joe Biden on the road to highlight progress being made, even incrementally, in meeting the series of tests, with visits this week to California as well as New Mexico.

Yep, that will work................................

His standing was worse than Trumps before 2020. But the media and deep state hid that fact and stole the election. Any more questions?

How much do they pay Jonathan Lemire as their "Unlikely Propaganda But We'll See If Anyone Buys It" reporter?

Never had a Trump sign in my yard, but I do have “Let’s Go Brandon” sign in my yard now, so Senile Joe should be happy with that.

allowing him to flash more of his genuine, relatable, albeit gaffe-prone self. One person close to the president pushed for more “let Biden be Biden”

Lol. Brandon is much worse than Carter. That’s already baked in. Carter was possibly legitimately elected.

From the article: “President Joe Biden and his aides have grown increasingly frustrated by their inability to turn the tide against a cascade of challenges threatening to overwhelm the administration.”

Apparently Biden and aides can’t understand the people do not like his policies. It has nothing to do with “challenges”.

Every president enters offices faced with challenges. Ronald Reagan faced higher inflation than Biden, high oil prices, the prospect that rapidly growing Japan would overtake the US economy, as well as the ever-present real prospect of nuclear war with the Soviet Union. In addition Reagan faced an opposing party majority in both houses of Congress. President Reagan rose to the challenges of the office by putting in place policies to address the problems thereby demonstrating real leadership. Biden’s policies have exacerbated existing challenges and created new ones. In addition, Reagan attempted to unite the people with positive messages. Biden and his accomplices have deliberately worked to divide the people, pitting groups against each other with negative messages.

Bad policies, poor leader, and negative communications. A prescription for disaster.
