Hello again. More complaints about my health!
Since July 14 I've been having unrelenting agonizing issues. Specifically since Aug 1 I've continuously had severe burning, leaden feeling in my arms and shoulders. I'm starting to feel more in my legs too. It seems to tie in with a feeling of sickness, too. I get more and more numbness/tingling in my hands and sometimes feet.
Yes, I've been to lots of doctors/ER. I have lots of "history" as well, which may or may not tie into this Summer 2020 suffering.
Have petitioned the Great Physician.
You might also check out homeopathic remedies, like Arnica or Hypericum.

Do you mean COPD?
I would have doctor check for lymes disease, lupus, or MS. Tough diseases to diagnose.
Consider checking for Lyme’s disease. It’s symptoms can be vague but debilitating.
I’ve had set rate, ANA and RF. LOTS of bloodwork, all “normal”.
Still, I’m going back to a rheumatologist this week.
Had a test this summer.
Of course, as with most medical testing, I know there are big problems with Lyme testing. I only got 1. But though I’ve heard about multiple unreliable tests, the docs never care and say one is good enough.

Another neg test for Lyme. And any time I bring up anything like those I get poohpoohed. “You don’t have what happens with that.” But I know damn well there are plenty atypical forms of all these diseases.

I think I will be. Just that I partially wonder about my Tamoxifen meds. I’ve been off it a month but told my oncologist I wish to stay off for up to 6 months just in case.
So sorry you are thru this agony. Someone else mentioned gabapentin. I have, sometimes, excruciating pain in my left ear. Gabapentin shuts the pain DOWN. I also notice no side effects. My mother also took it for her shingles.

I believe that! Worrying about the state of the country now seems to have aggravated pretty normal issues for DH and me. Nothing life threatening, but extreme GERD, tiredness, etc. For me, I put my headphones on and turn on my old calming hymns recorded in the ‘70s and that seems to help relax me.
I know this is nothing like the topic of the post, but anxiety definitely CAN wreak havoc.
I will admit that I watch way too much of Investigation Discovery True Crime Shows on television but have you considered this?

Big Pharma is truly evil. God forbid someone comes up with an alternative & it cuts into their profits.
Stay off any news for a few weeks. Eat well. Get fresh air everyday. Take walks.
As others have noted, you’ve got to find that one right doctor. I pray that you will find that doctor soon.
Eagleone has a good suggestion. Reduce the stress in your life by taking a break from politics - and make it a complete break. Even no more Free Republic.
Perhaps you remember Allen Funt. He was the original host of ‘Candid Camera’. His son Peter put every ‘Candid Camera’ scene on YouTube for free. And he did it for a very specific reason. He wanted to make sick people laugh. God bless him.
So next time you’re feeling stressed, don’t go to the news. Go to YouTube and search for Candid Camera. It won’t solve everything. But it will move you in the right direction.
