"BTW, when President Bidens foaming-at-the-mouth anti-gun czar, Irishman Bob ORourke gets up to speed, hell try to take all of our AR-15s.... I said 'try'......."
The raids will come to one house at a time in each neighborhood following a tip from a family member (examples: a child after school, doctor's office visit, wife, girlfriend, roommate,...), neighbor or acquaintance, often after a minor disagreement or influence from a third party (friend, boyfriend, mother-in-law, school teacher, friend of a child,...).
After the arrest and search, the resident(s) will be slandered every way possible by the local news stations. For example, a garage or shed might be described as a bunker. The firearms and ammunition will be described in such ways as to make the person (or people) arrested appear to be criminal and insane.
I remember the way it was done during the '90s, even without a confiscation law. The raids often followed minor disagreements between family members, neighbors, coworkers or visitors, often called "domestic disputes."

The big question is: How much? I might buy one for grandma and give it to her for Christmas.

“There is no ammo.”
The state and federal armories are a good place to look for ammo.
When the Libyan civil war started in 2011, the soldiers who refused to follow Khaddafi’s orders headed back to their provinces to protect home and family. They raided armories and found all kinds of good stuff. Enough, in fact, to kill the NWO deep state operatives and slaughter Khaddafi’s mercenaries.

Only thing in gun shops these days are basically “Fudd guns” and “Fudd cartridges”. The tactical stuff is no where to be found. Like TP at Walmart.

Well, then it’s not an AR15, it’s an AR10 (if it’s an Armalite, if not thrn it’s an LR308,SR25 etc.).

That is NOT true. I have been buying 5.56 from several suppliers all through this planned-demic. Most popular ammo is in short supply and prices are up 20% over last year due to demand but you can still order bulk ammo. Lots of store shelves may be bare in your area but ther IS ammo available. You just have to look harder.

The media thinks they come in 50 caliber and can fire a thousand round a minute. Out of an ammo feed bag that only weighs four pounds.

Even so, an AR15 in any caliber is an AR15.
except an AR-15 In 308 is an AR-10. My favorite semi-auto rifle. Because the AR-15 design is based on the AR-10 (rather than vice versa ;^), I think a better way to look at it might be, 'an AR-10 in a varmint caliber is an AR-15'. And if you want a "real" AR-10, you need an ArmaLite - I believe they retain rights to that name. Interesting to note, ArmaLite calls their more recent AR-15s 'M-15s' (probably a long-lasting result of selling their AR-15 rights to Colt).
In any case...
"'AR' stands for 'ArmaLite'!"
...a simple historical fact, which the current owners of ArmaLite apparently fail to grasp!
;^)
