US President Donald Trump lashed out at China on Saturday, saying Beijings lack of transparency led to his administrations late response to the coronavirus outbreak.
I wish China would have told us how bad the situation was before we had to read about it. Because they were having a big problem and they knew it, Trump said at a news conference on Saturday at the White House.
China was very secretive and thats unfortunate, Trump said.
Trump has pivoted this week to emphasize the outbreaks start in China, repeatedly using the term Chinese virus, which has been criticized by the fake news media as fuelling racism against those of Chinese and East Asian descent.
It seems that the mainstream medias campaign is working for now.
WND reported that diversity officials for the University of California system have banned using Chinese virus to refer to the pandemic that originated in the communist nation, instructing students, staff, and faculty to discourage others from using the term as well.
Be an up-stander, and discourage others from engaging in such behavior, the officers said.
The Council of Chief Diversity Officers issued a statement instructing everyone in the system to reject racism, sexism, xenophobia and all hateful or intolerant speech, both in-person and online.
The statement cites resources from within the University of California system, including a Joint Statement from the Vice-Chancellor Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and the Interim Vice Chancellor Student Affairs at UC Davis titled Rejecting Coronavirus Xenophobia.
That statement said: A core of our mission at UC Davis Health is, of course, to advance health. Yet, health, privilege and bias are often intertwined. In recent weeks, we have seen an example of this in the alarming rise in bigotry and xenophobia against Asian communities. For many Asians, the racism is not new, but it has been emboldened as Asians are scapegoated for the coronavirus epidemic. This is doubly painful as Chinese communities also bear the weight of most of the lives lost.
So this would force many of the major universities that are located in California to ban the use of the term Chinese virus.
The list includes : Stanford University California Institute of Technology University of CaliforniaBerkeley The University of Southern California, University of CaliforniaDavis The list is huge I know many of our readers would say big deal its just California!
But remember not everyone in California is a brainless Democrat, there are American patriots that live there and fight for what America stands. And their children have to put up with universities that protect the communist regime in China.
What is wrong with these people?
The first outbreak took place in Hubei Province, China, and even a few years ago many scientists would have innocently called it the Wuhan virus or even the Chinese flu, as was the convention. Early in the news coverage, Time called it the Wuhan Coronavirus. After President Trump used the term Chinese Virus, everyone started calls for racism.
It seems that more universities and more states might follow this example.

...as they drop dead.
Did ban the Spanish flu?
Useless Universities.
Modern universities are disgusting and need to be shut down indefinitely.
Long March Virus.
Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let’s move on to the real topics of trying to live a full life during this Viral situation.
Stop putting style over actual substance aka virtue signalling, as they say today.
Only makes sense since they cannot speak ill of a fellow communist dictatorship.
Yeah...let’s call it the Lying Chinese Virus...
I am not controlled by them
Wu flu Wu flu Wu flu
Snowflakes gotta melt
All these schools take money from the Chinese Communist government.
‘Objective’ learning....my arse.
Fine, call it the Wuhan Virus. Or Wuhan-SARS
Our public supported education system needs leadership to withhold taxpayer funding under such circumstances. Since when does the university have the right to tell anyone they can’t say something such as “Chinese Virus”?
If it’s OK to say “Hungarian Goulash”, or “Mexican Palos Verde Tree”, or “Japanese Beetle”, then it’s just fine to call a virus of Chinese origin “Chinese Virus”.
Easy: ChiCom virus
All universities should be required to add the word, “Chinese” to their existing title, for example, Harvard Chinese University.
