Thanks to all of you numbskulls who bought a million rolls of toilet paper in the last few weeks, some California towns are experiencing sewer problems because people are using disinfectant wipes, paper towels, and even shredded T-shirts and then flushing them.

At least half the country consists of absolute idiots.
I knew there would be sewage issues, but I figured it would be flushing paper towel and maybe even Kleenex. I didn’t think anyone would be stupid enough to flush material.

Put a waste paper bag in the bathroom if you wipe your bum with rags, corn cobs or paper towels. That’s how it is done on fishing boats and in Mexico.

I call this fake news. Don’t tell me that people ran out of toilet paper in less then a week.

You can’t fix stupid.
That’s basically what I’ve been telling my family whenever they speculate about the possibility of running out of paper. “Wash with a cloth, soap, and water. Put cloth in bucket to be washed.”
50% are idiots, 50% of the remainder are A*holes, especially when anonymity is probable (drivers in cars and posters on Twitter are where I find the proof)
Well, if a person did not bother to stock up on TP until they heard other people were stocking up and there are 8 people living in their house, I can see running out. My friend back in my home state said he spent 5 hours a week ago going to ten different stores before he found any TP.
Flushing shredded t-shirts? Since this is California, I figured everyone would know that once you’ve finished, you just leave your wiping material in the street.
More people should have stocked up their home toilet paper supplies long before. I was telling people here about 6 or 7 weeks ago, to stock up enough for a month or two to allow time for stores to be replenished. Instead, most people waited until about a couple of weeks ago and have crowded up the stores like zombies since, infecting each other.
Good grief, I can’t imagine these dimwits when cloth diapers were the only thing available.
People who hoard toilet paper are asswipes
I feel like most of the adults died off with the World War II generation and now we are left with children in grown up bodies. Not in every case, of course, because we have a grown up in the White House (thankfully). But, by and large the masses are idiots.
I’d just jump in the shower. Most people only take a dump a day.
