Reminds me of Courage, a dog intentionally starved to 37 pounds, and saved by my rescue, the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (CA) in March 2010. He passed away in 2016 due a heart attack.

I recall Courage’s case.

The owner actually worked for a vet, if I remember correct.

I am so glad he was able to have a good home for the rest of his life.

I applaud your rescue but I have a problem with the veterinarians.....

The video said the care will be in the thousands of dollars. So my question is, where does that money come from? And if it comes from volunteers, which I am certain it does, why isn't the vet hospital volunteering free services?

Sounds to me like every rescue story I have read, the Vet hospital is getting all the accolades but all the monies too...
