I applaud your rescue but I have a problem with the veterinarians.....
The video said the care will be in the thousands of dollars. So my question is, where does that money come from? And if it comes from volunteers, which I am certain it does, why isn't the vet hospital volunteering free services?
Sounds to me like every rescue story I have read, the Vet hospital is getting all the accolades but all the monies too...

In the case of Courage, another animal hospital treated him, not the animal hospital where the monster worked.
Monies to save Courage came from around the world. We got donations as far away as the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia.
As for the monies for the animal hospital they give significant discounts to rescues and often the rescues do not even pay that amount.
