Dr. Johnny Fever suggested something similar on an episode of WKRP in Cincinnati way back in the late 70s.
There was a story or rumor that Tom Menino, the late mayor of Boston, wanted to ban Porta-Potties because he thought they could be lifted by crowds and thrown as weapons.
In Minneapolis, there were complaints that the city didn't provide porta-potties, and the city tweeted back that it wasn't their responsibility to provide them but that the sponsors of the rally did supply them.
So were the portable facilities there before and removed by the city just for the Trump rally? Or is this another non-true non story?

Agreed. I think the city is legally obligated to provide proper sanitation in these cases. AND they are open to a lawsuit if they provided proper sanitation for other events but not this one.
