Is YouTube down for you, too?

I have not been able to get YouTube to work since Sunday. I have posted this question on Facebook, and some say they can get YT on their phones, others have said they have gotten the site to work after rebooting by disconnecting their modems for about 30 seconds. None of these have worked for me.

The site, isitdownrightnow.com has been pinging the site several times a day, apparently without success. It has this statement posted: We have tried pinging Youtube website using our server and the website returned the above results. If youtube.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

Anyone have any insights or suggestions? (Yes, I'm logged in. I consider this a hugh and series issue.)

Are you trying to connect via an Amazon device? Google is blocking YouTube from working on Amazon devices.

No. Using my PC. However, I do use Linux Mint, not windows. Could that be the problem?

Are you trying through a Mint browser [which one?] or standalone Youtube app?

Are you kidding? If Youtube had been down since Sunday, there would be riots across the the entire US. Life as we know it would have ended.

You might want to try this Linux Mint forum..

I see no problems/fixes concerning specific websites using Linux Mint OS. But perhaps someone there can be more helpful if no one here offers up a solution.

Mine neither, though the site I used to use stopped allowing me to pull songs from there so I had to find a new one that did work.

Not for me currently. But...it has been dropping out...vidoes just sit there trying to load. It has been happening once per day about midday but clears up. Traffic at lunch time? Who can say?
