Rand wrecks GOP unity again
Politico ^ | October 17, 2017 | Burgess Everett

President Donald Trump and Senate GOP leaders are desperate for a show of legislative unity on tax reform after the collapse of Obamacare repeal.

But they’re unlikely to get it thanks to Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky. The frequent GOP contrarian is digging in against the budget as written — an ominous start to Republicans’ tax push at a time when leaders would like to soothe jittery donors and voters.

From the article this a budget that is purely symbolic but somehow starts the legislating of tax reform moving. Rand Paul holding his breath until he turns blue moment again.

Rand Paul proves the maxim that politics is a circle. If you move far enough to the right, you end up on the left.

They mis-spelled “McCain”

When is he up again? Going down the same road as McLame and Mittens. Those 2 were nominated for the top slot.

What?

You mean Rand Paul isn’t going to be just like St. Pauli Girl Ryan?

Here is a good article talking about how St. Pauli Girl Ryan wants everyone to be “inclusive.”

Go Rand Paul, stand your ground, do not become like St. Pauli Girl Ryan, and all the other “F” rated RINOs, like McCain, McConnel, etc.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3596024/posts

He St. Pauli Girl Ryan said: “I think what matters is that we have to show people that we are an inclusive society that ... we want everyone to succeed. And I think there’s more that all of us as leaders have got to do to be inclusive with people and make people feel like they’re included in society ... We’ve got a lot — a long ways to go, just as a society and a country for that.”

“Inclusion,” stated here in different ways three times, is the third catchword in the liberal lexicon, along with diversity and tolerance. It tumbles easily out of the mouths of activists, politicians, celebrities, and academics. Why Paul Ryan?

I never understand why Rand Paul gets a pass from conservatives when he votes with Democrats ALL the time. You start to wonder if maybe he talks like a conservative and votes like Chuck Schumer.

Rand Paul seems to be the only only person in DC who has actually talked about government SPENDING in this “rearrange-the-deck-chairs-on-the-Titanic” circus regarding tax cuts and the budget.

You start to wonder if maybe he talks like a conservative and votes like Chuck Schemer.

Actually, Senator Paul talks and votes all too often as if he's the only guy in Washington DC who has actually read and understands the Constitution.

The reconciliation instructions in this budget resolution will allow the tax cut bill to be introduced in the senate (after passing in the house) under reconciliation rules. Those rules will allow the bill to pass with just 50%+Pence rather than having to overcome a filibuster

The game has to be played at the line of scrimmage. Rand Paul acts like if he just stands somewhere in the tunnel that the game will come to him eventually.

Rand Paul has a Heritage Action Score of 85%, compared to an average score of 56% for Senate Republicans overall. I don’t know where you get this idea that Sen. Paul votes with Democrats all the time. Please stop posting bullish!t lies on this site.

On key issues this year Rand Paul has been a reliable Democratic vote in the senate. Schumer can always count on him to destroy Trump’s agenda time and again.

I am personally convinced that Rand Paul is a supporter of Obamacare because of the huge number of Kentuckians on welfare who vote for him. I can’t think of another explanation for how much he has fought to preserve it in its current form.

Maybe it’s just that he and his doctor friends like it because they make more money with it.

Please list all of those votes. Even though he complains loudly about a lot of these things, he doesn’t always vote the way you think.

People on welfare don’t need Obamacare. They’re already eligible for Medicaid. And doctors have been dropping Medicaid patients in droves since Obamacare was passed, so clearly they’re not making a lot of money on them.
