Speaking of Harvey Weinstein, it appears to me that the nation reached “Peak Weinstein” over this past weekend. The clearest indicator of that reality is the edict in pop culture that you cannot joke about Harvey Weinstein and his crimes. Un-funny late night TV host James Corden, with whom I am so unfamliar that I had to google his name to get the spelling right, found this out the hard way when he was lambasted in social media and later, the legacy media for telling a bunch of not funny Weinstein jokes during a gig hosting a charity event Saturday evening.
So, a note to all you comics and aspiring comics out there, longing to whip out your repertoire of Harvey Weinstein jokes: Stop. Just stop. Nothing about what Harvey Weinstein did is funny. Oh, there is tons of irony in this situation, as it applies to Hollywood’s larger depraved culture and to all the Democrat politicians – especially anyone named Clinton or Obama – who are desperate to find ways to keep Weinstein’s hush money, but none of this is funny. Women were raped here, abused in heinous ways, their careers and lives destroyed by an out-of-control monster who everyone in Hollywood knew about for years and did nothing to stop him.
What the Weinstein scandal is, is tragic. The most tragic aspect of it is that Weinstein is far from the only monster out there, and in fact most likely is just a representative of an overall culture of abuse that probably will be allowed to continue to exist as the fake news media, which is desperate to shift the public’s attention off of its Democrat benefactors who bathed in Weinstein’s money, moves on to other, faker news.

Either the media got the “Shooter was a White man.” story they wanted, or embarrassing stuff is starting to surface so it’s time to move on.
Yeah, I did a google search on the Vegas shootings last night, and it came up withe zero stories dated Oct. 15. That’s tragic, too.

After DECADES of misbehavior, what did weinstein do that brought this all out in the open and why did the libs decide to quit covering for him?
Figure out who one of his more recent victims might have been. Then see what cards she had to play in her hand.
It's called "Winning" and it's Lewinsky saying "remember me!" at this most opportune time while everyone is piling on Weinstein and trying to tie Trump to it.
Monica loved it and she knows it.

FOR EXAMPLE: the do-good Clinton's multi-million payouts for (A) celeb-laden galas including Hollywarped types, (B) seminars for (ahem) "young leaders," (C) Bill's globe-trotting, setting up profit-making insider deals, (D) Bill's 28 trips to Pedo Island, etc etc etc.
Did Harvey Weinstein direct The Weinstein Company to list his contribution to Clinton's sex defense fund under "business expenses?"

Seth MacFarlane was contemptible for lightly joking about Weinstein and saying years later that it "came from a place of loathing and anger," and it would have been like that if Corden had been making little Harvey quips while Weinstein was riding high, but a little ridicule now that he's fallen isn't a bad thing.
I’m gonna put on my tinfoil hat for a second and suggest that there is going to be a resurgence of the 2916 Trump “bimbo eruption”. It’s really not a stretch to assume that this Weinstein outing will somehow be equated with DJT. Harvey was expendable, for “the cause”, you know. “See, Donald did it too” kinda stuff.
