I work in IT in south Alabama. There are major network outages being reported by cell carriers, such as AT&T and Verizon. Other carriers are reporting it too. The maps show all of the Eastern seaboard from just south of Maine all the way to the bottom of Florida and the southeast United States plus major parts of California and Nebraska. We don't know exactly what is going on and I am not trying to alarm anyone but this is what I know at this point.
Also in MA. Does this mean I have permission to go set some IT guys’ hair on fire? Because I would like to do that some days.
Same here
I should have known something was wrong when I didn’t get my daily 10-15 spam emails today.
Is he any relationship to Major Hooters?
Awww come on now. Some of us IT guys are freepers! LOL. We are not all geeked out. I have a life outside of my workplace. Some of the IT guys I work with live this stuff. I am good at what I do but when I am outside of my place of business I don’t drip geek. I understand it can get you hot under the collar though. I deal with that every day, mostly from others that work WITH me. It is one thing to have security but another to affect production. It really is a delicate balancing act.
Fixed.
This is the era of Trump.
