President Trump has defeated Democrats in the intelligence community (IC) who were leaking classified information to the press. Such leaks have been a problem for many presidents, but Trump is the first who took a proactive approach and set up a sting operation that identified the leakers. Its highly illegal to leak classified information. Its also illegal to PUBLISH this information, but Trump is too smart to try and prosecute reporters.
I thought that Trump would fire members of the IC until the leaks stopped, but the president solved the problem with a much more imaginative and deadly approach: He fed the IC false information. When this information was published, Trump was able to identify individual leakers.
How?

Take with a grain if you must but I'm using this as a compass.
We're almost there, folks......
I keep reading this stuff....yet no one is in jail.
bttt
Not until these perps are in jail or shot by a firing squad.
I didn’t even read it, for much the same reason. I read this stuff, get all revved up for something to happen, and it’s like there’s nobody around to follow through and actually enforce the law. It’s like everyone is afraid.

Grain? I need an entire salt mine.
Two points:
1. Consider the source. Nobody has ever heard of this guy. Read his biog at his website. It is less than inspiring.
2. The article, while interesting, is just speculation. A theory.
Not good enough for me.
whilst there is a lot of rubbish about the Showers Dossier in Corn’s article, it’s a pity the rest of it has been pretty much overlooked or completely ignored, given when it was written -
31 Oct 2016: Motherjones: David Corn: A Veteran Spy Has Given the FBI Information Alleging a Russian Operation to Cultivate Donald Trump
Has the bureau investigated this material?
The FBI is certainly investigating the hacks attributed to Russia that have hit American political targets, including the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta, the chairman of Clinton’s presidential campaign. But there have been few public signs of whether that probe extends to examining possible contacts between the Russian government and Trump. (In recent weeks, reporters in Washington have pursued anonymous online reports that a computer server related to the Trump Organization engaged in a high level of activity with servers connected to Alfa Bank, the largest private bank in Russia. On Monday, a Slate investigation detailed the pattern of unusual server activity but concluded, “We don’t yet know what this [Trump] server was for, but it deserves further explanation.” In an email to Mother Jones, Hope Hicks, a Trump campaign spokeswoman, maintains, “The Trump Organization is not sending or receiving any communications from this email server. The Trump Organization has no communication or relationship with this entity or any Russian entity.”)...
In August, Democratic members of the House committee on oversight wrote Comey to ask the FBI to investigate “whether connections between Trump campaign officials and Russian interests may have contributed to these [cyber] attacks in order to interfere with the US. presidential election.” In September, Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Rep. Adam Schiff, the senior Democrats on, respectively, the Senate and House intelligence committees, issued a joint statement accusing Russia of underhanded meddling: “Based on briefings we have received, we have concluded that the Russian intelligence agencies are making a serious and concerted effort to influence the U.S. election. At the least, this effort is intended to sow doubt about the security of our election and may well be intended to influence the outcomes of the election.” The Obama White House has declared Russia the culprit in the hacking capers, expressed outrage, and promised a “proportional” response...
In the letter Reid sent to Comey on Sunday, he pointed out that months ago he had asked the FBI director to release information on Trump’s possible Russia ties. Since then, according to a Reid spokesman, Reid has been briefed several times. The spokesman adds, “He is confident that he knows enough to be extremely alarmed.”

Launch the damage control team
If you read it, and believe it, you’ll feel better because there seems be a plan behind all this.
Not everything happens in ten minutes.
PING!
“Today at his press conference, Donald Trump said he thinks the leaks will stop. This is because the leakers are looking at very long prison sentences. Like Tom Cruise in The Firm, Donald Trump now knows everything.
Its up to the IC whether or not Trump unloads his cargo of information or keeps it at sea forever.”

Patience, Grasshopper. There is more (and worse) behind all this, I’m sure. Someone will cut a deal or the interrogations will uncover other malfeasance. We will see this unfold like one of those dried tea & flower arrangements. The reward of the tea comes after the unfolding.
It is one thing to be able to identify them and fire them, it is another thing to prove their wrong doing on the level that a criminal prosecution would need.
I’ve never heard of this guy, but his speculation is interesting. Realizing this could be conformation bias on my part, I still hope that it’s true. I want Trump to drain the Swamp.
+2. When they start going to prison it will be time to celebrate.
Scooter libby went to prison, hillary did not
