When you think of milk, what first comes to your mind? If you’re a millennial, you probably think of strong bones, Got Milk? commercials, or maybe eating your favorite cereal while watching cartoons on a Saturday morning.
What about racism? White nationalism? If you’re having trouble finding the connection between these institutions and milk, you’re not alone. You, along with the rest of the nation, have been so accustomed to hearing the benefits of milk that you probably didn’t even realize the subtle racism hidden in our health facts.
It may not surprise you that the United States was founded on racism. That every institution we uphold has racist roots that are sometimes difficult to catch and even harder to fight against. This phenomenon affects our voter ID laws, state testing and, yes, even our federal dietary guidelines. But how can our health guidelines, a system meant to be built upon scientific fact alone, have racist messages? Where there is a deep-rooted tradition to suppress an entire race’s existence, there’s a way.
The federal endorsement of milk in American diets contributes to the problem by uncritically pushing people to drink milk, despite the potential detriment it has on non-white people’s health.

Given that it's Mother Jones, perhaps they believe that African newborns strangle lions with their bare hands and drink their blood, and that milk was introduced by the slavers to make the mighty warriors docile.
I grew up on powdered milk. We moved overseas and as expatriates we drank canned milk and powdered skim milk. I grew a strong distaste for milk because of my youth and my experience with powders and canned goods.
Today I enjoy some cheese and I will put skim milk in my coffee if the coffee is absolutely disgusting to drink otherwise. I don’t use butter and I’ve still detest milk products unless heavily camouflaged.
funny... that these snowflakes have no problem with the push to get everyone to eat a diet designed for a woman (vegie heavy, no red meat), but that is completely inadequate for a man.

So we cannot drink chocolate milk because that is now black nationalism? What about egg nog?
Of course only the first sentence is true. But apparently snowflakes can reach the other conclusions based solely on my beverage choice...
LIke the Trump haters, there are some that will go to any lengths to find racism in all things. It’s common knowledge that as we (all of us) get older, we are not as tolerant of milk as when we need it as newborns. And other animals’ milk is not as fine tuned for human consumption as mother’s milk.

Cows, goats, and women (both black and white) are totally racist for producing white milk. Clearly.
I think it’s time to have a chat with God. Perhaps He can create some sort of chocolate/vanilla swirl milk, like something out of Dairy Queen.
