Girl Guides Of Canada Cancels All Trips To U.S. Over Trump's Travel Ban

TORONTO — Girl Guides of Canada will not approve any new travel to the United States, describing the decision as difficult but necessary to protect its members.
The organization released a statement Monday saying it decided to cancel future trips due to uncertainty over whether all of its members would equally be allowed to enter the U.S.
It said the organization values providing safe, inclusive and accepting experiences to its members, including when travelling.
Although the U.S. is a "frequent destination'' for its members, the organization said all trips including travel that requires connecting through an American airport will not be approved....

I was a girl guide back in my youth. We never traveled anywhere. Why would they be travelling anywhere’s anyway?
Probably the high up mucky mucks getting free trips.
The stupid really burns though.

I was a Brownie and and Girl Guide as well. The only travelling we did was trotting through the neighborhood peddling cookies....with no commission.

We went to Joshua Tree a few times and the Colorado River, but I was a boy scout in Southern California. Never got to Philmont. Worked the Los Angeles County Fair as a messenger.

I used to listen to Radio Canada International (SW), and there was a Canadian MP, a muslim, that complained about the travel restrictions immediately after 9/11/2001 that he wouldn’t be able to travel to the US.
