At a one-on-one sit-down with Sen. Ben Cardin last week, Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch rattled off his favorite past justices. One was Robert Jackson, who dissented in a landmark case that allowed for the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.
He obviously did his homework with me, Cardin (D-Md.) said of Gorsuch afterward. He knew I would be favorably inclined to that type of discussion.
He did a very good job in the meeting with me, Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.), who is being heavily courted by the pro-Gorsuch side, said in an interview. He presents himself very well. I mean, he is very, very professional. Very smooth.
Gorsuch isn't there yet: He still needs to win over eight Democrats and keep all 52 Republicans in line. There are 10 ripe Democratic targets: Senators up for reelection in states Trump won. But two of them have already said they would oppose Gorsuch.

Just replay all the democrats saying how it was their job to approve anyone the president wanted (when Odumbass was pResident)
I read “When they talk to Gorsuch in private, democrats begin to like him” and I confess to a creep of worry coming in.
Democrats jumping on board?
Worrisome.
Or, more likely, just lining up per orders to save the filibuster fight for the next round.
But Schumer has to keep up his "I am the POWER".....
So far, Schumer has been butt kicked...

He doesn’t need 60. That’s a myth.
He’s pretty much a slam dunk.
A lot of them will do what they did with Alito: Vote for cloture, then vote against Gorsuch in his final confirmation vote.
Try to have it both ways.
I read When they talk to Gorsuch in private, democrats begin to like him and I confess to a creep of worry coming in.
The calculus for them is: support Schumer or worry about my own reelection.

Look at this guys church and some personal notes he’s written. Pro Gay Marriage, believes in AGW, special LBGT rights the works he’s a liberal people and l see no way to stop him at this point the Rats are getting their 5th Justice after all l fear. Totally a wolf in sheeps clothing.
This is the reality. I pray that Gorsuch is a solid conservative, but has some worrisome characteristics (especially that Episcopalian BS).
So many dismiss Cruz, because of some BS personal feelings hurt. I keep saying this is a war, and even if Cruz has done scumbag like things (which he has), much much more important is whether he is a trustworthy conservative, or someone like John Roberts.
Scumbag conservative is okay. Roberts is not. Milo is okay, NeverTrump is not. It’s so frustrating being a true conservative sometimes, even in FR.
I’m concerned he’s a wolf in such a convincing sheep outfit as we have never seen. It has “Originalist” and “Scalia lover” written all over it, but underneath— yeah, wolf.
I think Gorsuch is going to be fine he has MANY court rulings and writings, Roberts had NO paper trail to speak of Bush chose him because of this, although NOW I believe Roberts was always a liberal judge and Bush KNEW but WE DID NOT!!!!
I hope he is not confirmed. He is Souter. He belongs to ultra-far left church and he and his family are very active in this church. Female pastor. Pro abort. Pro gun control. Pro gay marriage. Forget about overturning Roe v Wade.
The ECUSA is just a country club. People go there for status, networking, social climbing. Same, with a slightly different classist vibe, is the UMC.
Well, a judge is a lawyer first. One should always have a little worry.
