After the disgusting political assassination of General Michael Flynn, President Trump had to find a leader who would be ready for anything.
Enter retired Vice Adm. Robert Harward.
Harward is currently a defense contractor executive, a retired United States Navy SEAL and a former Deputy Commander of the United States Central Command, under the leadership command of General James Mattis.
He is a man you do NOT want to mess with.
Knowing that so many of Obamas people are still doing his bidding and leaking confidential information to the liberal media, Harward had to find a way to keep his unit secure.
So Harward is making a seriously smart move, he is doing a FULL housecleaning of Trumps National Security Councils staff. Harward is bringing in HIS OWN team and not trusting anyone else with sensitive material.
Too many left-wing idealouges in the White House and in our intelligence agencies have made President Trump their target.
Robert Harwards planned housecleaning is the safest way to ensure Americans will remain safe. Posted Under NEWS
encouraging! thank you!
I would force the NSA to sift through any of the IC employees electronic communications for anything that hints at the keywords CNN, NYT, Washington Post, WSJ, et al. Then I’d have their security clearances pulled indefinitely pending long-term review.
I’d deny them their access.
How smart was it giving Bannon NSC creds?
Wonderful! All President Trump’s appointees should do the same thing!
Too many left-wing idealouges in the White House and in our intelligence agencies have made President Trump their target.

When is Trump going to reverse Obama’s eleventh hour directive allowing NSA to share raw surveillance data with 16 government intelligence agencies? This is a dangerous order that is fraught with the potential for political subterfuge and other partisan shenanigans.
As we said, fire all the people hired under Obama and replace them with people who are not traitors.
So...K. T. McFarland is looking for a new job?
OK, so you can’t fire everyone, they have government jobs so effectively tenure for life -and then we get to pay for them to retire in luxury...
But, you can take them out of their current jobs and assign them to a new position guarding the toilet supplies of stall 3 of Ice Station Zebra...
If they can deal with that for their “20 and out” then good on them.
Trump should also put ALL telephone communications for the White House and cabinet officials under the control of Mattis and DOD.
I hope this is true. Drain the swamp. You don’t drain a tub by bailing with tweezers or with a teaspoon; you pull the plug and let everything out all at once.
But the problem goes deeper - into the intelligence agencies who [WRONGLY] feel that they are not obliged to answer to The Commander in Chief - especially this Commander in Chief. These are spies and rooting them out will be very tough.
Might sound good but way too much power consolidated under 1 man
Intelligence is rarely a unanimous product and opposing views offer checks and balance
Drain the swamp...fire all federal employees and force them to re-apply for their positions against other candidates.
Has Harward even agreed to take the assignment yet?
Amen! That is EXACTLY what needed to happen!
Apologies, but, to illustrate, I’m going to plagiarize myself here. I posted the following in response to a post that characterized Mike Flynn as a “comparatively small fish”:
“You may consider Mike Flynn a comparatively small fish, but Flynns opponents do not. Flynn posed a clear and immediate threat to the Intelligence Community and most of its 17 member agencies and departments. He saw, firsthand, the manner in which intelligence was cooked to fit a political narrative or delayed due to political and interagency considerations and that it cost American and coalition lives.
Flynns appointment as National Security Advisor was way outside the norm. Virtually every previous National Security Advisor, going back at least to the Reagan administration, had served on the NSC Staff at least once and most were Ivy Leaguers or graduates of Harvards Kennedy School (Rice was from Stanford) - and that includes the general officers, like Powell, Jones, etc.
[By comparison] Mike Flynn is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and never served on the NSC staff. According to his official biography, Flynns military career was PRIMARILY OPERATIONAL, with numerous combat arms, conventional and special operations senior intelligence assignments. In other words, Flynns perspective was based on reality, not theory. He has authored numerous articles that were critical of the Obama administrations policies and highly critical of the Intelligence Community, which were among the reasons he was removed from his position as Director of DIA early - by order of the Obama administration.”
Does the housecleaning include Flynn’s deputy, KT McFarland?
NAVY SEAL!
HE!! YES!
Brilliant except I don't believe that's where the problem lies. The problem is with the so-called 'deep state'. The problem is with the intelligence agencies and the FBI and Justice Department. Draining that swamp is going to be very, very difficult. But if ever we had a President who is even remotely up to the task it's the man we elected in November.
