My commentary: A real nice touch at the Armed Forces Ball. Melania was paired with a sergeant. Trump danced with a Navy petty officer.

I can only recognize the left-most one on the bottom row ... that's the National Defense Service Medal.
Left side: Combat Action Badge, Airborne and Air Assault Badges, Buff Strap, ARCOM, AAM, GCM, NDSM. RIght side it looks like foreign jump wings award. No Infantry cord, medic perhaps?
Mrs Pence’s gown was lovely. Beautiful color.
He wears both air assault and airborne insignia.
Badge on top l/s could also be combat medical badge. I can’t make it out exactly. Same problem with his brass on the collar.

He was on cloud 9. You could see he was almost pinching himself. He kept asking her to twirl. Nice salad on his chest though.

At one point, she pointed for Barron to put his water cup on a napkin, as he had set the cup down on the ledge where he was watching the parade. It was a classic Mom thing. I figured she’d asked for a napkin prior to that so that he displayed manners.
I also noticed that Ivanka turned around to take a swallow from a water bottle so that she faced away from onlookers in the parade route and from the crowd. Once again, manners.
The Wave was laughing the whole time she was dancing with President Trump. He must have been flirting with her or something because she looked almost shocked a few times before breaking out in laughter. She was definitely having a good night.

I can hear my own Navy vet (WW2) dad saying (were he alive today), “That, my son, is a classy dame.”
Oh, and the man dancing with her....well, I was surprised his feet were on the ground.
I love the fact their son is in the military. Two very patriots families.

Thank you for the absolutely fabulous reminder of the uniqueness of America without class distinction, where a “commoner” can dance with a President and his First Lady.
I love this country more than words can describe. It is such a blessing we are free from the stratification and class/caste systems common to most nations where you are limited professionally and socially to your stratified class.
The MSM is constantly trying to generate class warfare, but the real truth is that if you are stuck in one class in America, then you are not trying very hard to rise above it. This is how FOB immigrants can come penniless to America and run a fortune 500 company before they die, or perhaps their son or daughter achieves that goal.
Father in Heaven, how I love this country. Thank You for the undeserved blessings you continue to bestow on this ungrateful nation. I am grateful for them.
