The MSM makes it sound like the end of the battle of Allepo is a bad thing. But what is the alternative? Another 5 years of a stalemated war?

But, of course! How else could it be? It is the government providing the information.

Are we being lied to? Of course the media is reporting a lot of disinformation. Why should Syria be any different that the rest of the news?

Perhaps, the Globalists wanted to destabilize the Middle East - failure of the Nation State and chaos is needed to establish Global rule and martial law.

Or perhaps they want to ensure oil for Europe without relying on Russian supplies. Or maybe it all has to do with keeping the illicit drug routes open.

It is not acceptable that they would arm ISIS to go into any country - friend or foe and totally destroy the country.

I wonder what the real reason they want a regime change in Syria is.

**************

Installation of the Muslim Brotherhood in power. Think Egypy, Libya. That was the objective.

Syrian regime change is a big operation with a few main conspirators, each with their set of interests.

I am sure that oil and gas profits figured heavily for the Saudis and the Turks (especially Erdogan himself, whose family has profited greatly from oil smuggling). The strategic impacts of who controls the oil and gas wealth is a major concern for everyone.

No doubt Wahabbi expansionist ideology/hatred of Shi’ites had a big role as well, for both the Saudis and Erdogan.

Countering Iranian influence is a strategic concern of the USA, as well as the Saudis and Turks.

Obama, in my opinion, is a communist first. Any religion, be it islam or Rev. Wright’s “Christianity”, is just a means to political ends for him. I assess that the whole Arab Spring drive for regime changes (including Syria) was a drive to install Muslim Brotherhood governments, to strengthen anti-Western/anti-Capitalist forces.

The Muslim Brotherhood has long since been co-opted to be a (totalitarian) political movement with a religious excuse - and has long been a client of the hard left (first the Nazis and later the Soviets) and the Saudis.

The Muslim Brotherhood suffered a particularly harsh defeat at the hands Hafez Assad (the current President’s father), and they have long harbored special hatred for them.

It’s really pretty simple

One muzloid group is in charge, and another muzloid group wants to be in charge.

The outcome....more dead muzloids. Why should we even care?

The islamic caliphate is on the move, infiltrating and preparing for the destruction of Western Civilization. And they’re doing it thru simple overwhelming immigration numbers and bankrupting host gov’ts welfare programs, instead of armed invasion.

Horowitz called it years ago: “Unholy Alliance”

It would be an enlightening exercise to research WHO and WHERE the push for Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize came from.

That award is likely cover for his Regime Change Activities in the Middle East.

It came because of a false white-guilt of liberals with nothing to do on their hands except look inward to their faults instead of trying to actually better this world.

We are seeing this ‘white-guilt’ all over Europe in its being destroyed by an influx of Muslims who will devolve them eventually.

What SUCKS is that the Western government/media axis continues to dominate, even with all of the alternative media now available to us.

Back in the 1990s, before there was much of any alternative media, the Los Angeles Times (of all outlets) actually had a reporter on the ground, Paul Watson, in Serbia covering our bombing of Belgrade (and yes, there were only civilian targets in Belgrade...the war on the ground was being fought in Kosovo).

Mr. Watson dutifully reported on the claims by the Serbian leader that CIVILIAN TARGETS were being hit non-stop, something ADAMANTLY DENIED by the US and other NATO governments...and guess what, Mr. Watson’s reports clearly CONFIRMED that the Serbs were telling the truth and that the Western governments were simply LYING to their people.

I give the LA Times (normally a horrific member of the Mainstream Media) credit for publishing those reports...but no one gave a damn, no one was interested, the reports just fell on deaf ears. So we see it again in Syria - our media is TOTALLY UNDER THE THUMB of the terrorists, and the media won’t even mention that, much less not trust them.

I don’t know if the local Russian media behaves like our media, but if they do, I have difficulty getting upset with Putin for some of the ‘unfortunate accidents’ of their ‘reporters’.

Decades ago I went to a supposedly conservative college...and it was conservative, at least as far as the students were concerned. One in a while a liberal politician would show up for a rally - and REALLY REGRET IT. We treated liberal politicians like liberals treat our side...it was fun. But the school had (and I’m sure still has) a “Journalism” department, and students from that department (and from the “Communications” department, whatever the hell that was supposed to be) wrote HORRIFIC LEFT-WING DIATRIBES in the student newspaper. No one else did...other columnists, and the editorial board were pretty much down the center, but I will never forget the FILTH that came out of their journalism/communications majors...and guess where they’re working now.

Also decades ago Rush said that if you ask a Journalism major why they chose Journalism, they would always answer something like “to make the world a better place”. Not report on what’s going on, but to change things. That is SCARY - the ONLY PEOPLE that should be “changing things” through government action are those elected to do just that. Those departments need to be SHUT DOWN as they appear to be a proving ground for the left to keep control of our media.

“We can debate the need to be in Viet Nam, but there is no clear reason for this country to be involved with Syria save that we have a scheming Muslim President.”

You’re being generous. There is NO REASON AT ALL to be in Syria. I keep asking the left what was so bad about Assad and the best they seem to come up with is that he opposed an oil pipeline through his country...for that we start a CIVIL WAR that kills hundreds of thousands and displaces millions?

Our masters are ONE STRANGE BUNCH.

It’s so hard to get a handle on this but I’m betting “follow the money” is useful. Oil money. There must be a lot of it at stake.

It (the Saudi - Qatari gas) is most important of all to the Euros & globalists. Their reasons for wanting the gas are not entirely unreasonable. Their means to get it (including drawing the US into the mess) are.
