I wonder if earthquakes would happen if FBI Director Comey visited Trump Tower.
I think there is definitely something wrong with him. It is likely something like bipolar illness.
Trump wants to be the president of ALL Americans, not just us dumb white men like the media is saying (he hates blacks, ...). Kanye seems to be “on Trump’s side” and has a channel to Americans that Trump may not otherwise be able to reach as easily.
Trump does know how to reach people and appeal to them. And I’m sure he realizes that there’s an important segment of the country he cannot reach personally. Seems like a great step if that’s what it’s about.
Could an inauguration performance be part of his image rebuild?

I agree - this guy is very vocal.
I’ve noticed how Trump has the ability to meet with those who were critical of him and have them come away with a much softer opinion.
I wonder if we’ll see crazy Glenn Beck riding up the elevator any time soon?
Just noticed that Ivanka came down in the elevator with them but stood out of the way during the photo op.
If Trump has been “friends” with Kanye for awhile this could be part of an image rebuild for Kanye. I think it hurt Trump is some kind of way when Rodman went off the rails on Apprentice with his drinking. He does have a soft spot for some who struggle with problems.
Like Rodman, it seems Trump sees something in these guys
Their need for a strong father figure or mentor
Their wealth and eccentric celebrity appeal could be put to good use
When I used to watch his show Celebrity Apprentice I was struck by how respectful trump was to everyone and their ideas, including people many of us consider as idiots

She was out there for him during the campaign
Unlike other people who owe trump a great deal and never lifted a voice to defend him

Kanye wasn’t critical of Trump, rather neutral. After the election, he said several things at his concerts like “I would’ve voted for Trump if I voted”, that he wanted to “make America great again”, and a lot of other pro Trump stuff, hence his forced visit to the hospital.

This is actually a brilliant move. It’s great for the optics.
While Obama is saying everything is racist.... We have President Elect Trump saying he and West are old friends.
It just neutralizes everything Obama is saying.

I certainly hope not! There's no telling what he would do or say once he's on stage. If you're going to invite him to perform, you may as well invite Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen to perform.
