Except for one big problem: the AK's are notorious for barrel climb, since the force of the automatic fire results in immediate inaccuracy of the aim.

Mine are single fire.
And I have AR15 also.
No need to choose. I watch both Star Trek and Star Wars and laugh at the debaters. (For the record, Babylon 5 and Firefly are both better than both)

A M-16 is much worse. From the third round you're shooting up the sky. At least the AK makes an attempt at a muzzle brake.
The best weapon at full auto has to be the old Thompsons but I never got a chance to fire a BAR.

I use the barrel climb to my advantage. Shoot first at ground targets and then aerial targets next. ;)
