That title isn’t joking. This post is aimed at my liberal readers. I’m a libertarian leaning Republican and gun expert, who thinks you are wrong about a lot of stuff, but I’m not writing this to gloat about your loss. For the record, I disliked all the presidential candidates.
Judging by your social media over the last few days many liberals have been utterly terrified that your government might turn tyrannical or that evil people will now be emboldened to hurt you. I’m going to let you in on a little thing the other half of the country is familiar with to keep those unlikely, yet catastrophic, events from happening.
And that my lefty friends, is 2nd Amendment.

To his credit though, the author did write this little bit:

I really no longer know. I used to be sympathetic, reasoning that sooner or later they'd have an epiphany such as our author is describing. No longer. The political climate has hardened considerably and people who used to joke about putting their opponents up against the wall aren't joking anymore. The hatred, the racism, the belittling and disempowering, the entire "privilege" con game; these aren't people amenable to reason and I'm not arming them or helping them be armed. That ship sailed about eight years ago. Anyone trying to disarm me is my enemy who I have to consider will become active again at first opportunity. The trust is gone, baby, and that's a sad fact.
I was at the gun range today for my weekly shoot and saw a young couple that look liked Hillary voters. Looked liked the urban hipster type with the girl having shorter hair than the guy. I just dismissed the thought as I was just stereotyping based on looks.
The range was busier than normal today too. Are liberals going to start buying guns and hoarding ammo now? I was hoping for price drops if Trump got elected.
I always recall Charleton Heston’s interview after the 1992 la riots.
All his gun hating liberal acquaintences asking him if they could borrow a gun.
He tells them to go down to the gun stores and purchase one.
They say they would but there’s a days/week waiting period.
He says that’s what they voted for.
Guess if they got one of his guns. Hint, it wasn’t yes.
Libs, get a .22 revolver, load it with .22 Shorts, and as far as a brand is concerned, you can’t do better than Rohm.
