The literal ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM is this....OUR nominations for his cabinet need approval by congress. Will they be? As long as McC and Lindsay are in the Senate we DO NOT have the majority of votes. Also, I believe we will lose Sessions for a cabinet nomination. Being in Alabama, I would hate to lose him as a senator. I am in the process of finding out, should that happen, how he would be replaced. Special election or Governor appointment? If special election, people here will not pay attention to when that election would occur. We always have problems with crossover voting in the primaries. God help us if this rino Governor gets to appoint that senate seat replacement. May God help us either way.
Sessions should stay put in the Senate.
Totally agree, sure hope so...just get the impression Donald is surrounding himself with his cabinet nominations.

Years ago, I do not recall when, if it was Reagan or BushI, he was nominated for a Fed judiciary position. He basically was borked for being too conservative So he came home and ran for the Senate seat. Love that man...but the cruzbots here (and there are many) are not happy about his DJT support.
