That concerns me. People have built up their hopes so high that Trump will swoop in and make the last 20 years of insanity go away and we will be back to the America of long ago where the only interface people had with big-G was going to the post office. Firstly, the president will have a hard time doing that as much of what needs to happen isn’t really in his powers. He can, however lead. The reason we have racial tensions is Obama says stupid things like, “the police acted stupidly.” That signals a lot of people to go after the police. On the other hand, Trump has to be careful what he says because we could have nut-case conservatives (as opposed to the thoughtful kind who have read the Constitution) shooting Leftists. (I admit to the urge of putting a bullet through Coexist bumper stickers, but I’m on medication for it.)

I'm not going to dignify that with a click, but I'm assuming that is his infamous "What do I tell my kids" breakdown last night.
What do you tell your kids? How about:
"Stand up for who you are. Don't let anybody tell you that you can't obtain your dream. No matter what lies, propaganda, and hatred the world seems to throw at you, be yourself, stay strong in your convictions, believe in yourself, and you can achieve whatever you desire. Just like Donald Trump."

I would never sit at a table with Van Jones without asking him if he has ever condemned his Communist Party, which murdered over 100 million humans in the 20th Century.
Van Jones should not be able to put on a suit and tie and sit in polite company without his loyalty to Communism being put in his face and everybody’s mind.
Today there is much wailing and gnashing of teeth, and apologies and promises to protect others for as long and as hard as they can.
And then there are the open-minded sci-if writers I follow ... Who seem a little less open minded than you might imagine.
I too have numerous liberal family members that are just besides themselves thinking the world as we know it has come to a disastrous end.
