2) House arrest for the rest of the sentence. In Arkansas.

It is probably legal for a president to pardon himself, but remember, accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt. Admission of guilt is why a conviction is not necessary.
Pardons do not protect in any way from impeachment, which removes a lot of benefits and future eligibility for office.
