New Zealand supermodel Kylie Bax is defending her long-term friend, Donald Trump.
She's questioning the allegations made by several women that Trump made inappropriate sexual advances towards them - saying they only want their five minutes of fame.
Bax said she doesn't condone comments he made in a reality show bus, which Trump has described as locker room talk.
She told NZME "I'm sorry, but he's a man."
She's also questioned why people think a guy trying to get a date is more important than national security - referring to Hillary Clinton's email scandal.
"What about the 300 emails that Hillary Clinton has tried to cover up. What is more important - a guy trying to get a date or national security?"
Bax said she's emailed Trump to remind him of her support, but knows he's too busy to respond.
The model, and mother to three girls, has a long-standing friendship with Trump dating back to the 1990s when she was a top model living in America.
"A lot of people are saying 'oh he did this to me, oh he did that to me' - who wants their five minutes of fame back?" Bax asked.
"I know the man, I don't need to hear things, I know how he treated me, I know how he treated his friends, so I know exactly what he is like."
She said unless Trump acted badly toward her she would continue to consider him a gentleman and charming host.
Meanwhile, Trump himself has come out swinging after the latest allegations of sexual misconduct against him.
A total of eight women have now made claims of unwanted advances from Trump.
Some relate to his TV show The Apprentice, and others go back to the time he owned beauty pageants.
But Trump said they're all lying, and it's part of an attempt to rig the election against him.
"The election is being rigged by corrupt media pushing completely false allegations and outright lies in an effort to elect her [Hillary Clinton] president.
"In fact today, the cousin of one of these people, very close to her, wrote a letter that what she said is a lie, that she was a huge fan of Donald Trump."
