The RNC is probably telling their office-holding members that they either back Trump, or they are own their own for reelection.
There may be some Republicans that believe they can withstand a challenge without the RNC's help. But, it won't be many of them -- especially when they realize they may be pissing off enough voters to swing the margin of victory.

Some of these people are such cowards. They blast him after the tape comes out then see Trump "surviving" TapeGate and so now they want back into the tent.
I like Reince Prevus (God only knows who to sell it) because he has been on Trumps side for a long time and he does stick up for him. I hope he continues and is reelected. He has been the been RNC Chair in a long time. Heck the last 3 I can’t even spell much less name...lol. I know many here can’t stand him but I am definitely not one of them. Now Paul Ryan? I hated him even before he was VP nominee. I tried to warn people of his terrible abilities but nobody believed me.
